So is it a 100% fact that the Raiders get at least the 2nd pick or is it just a high percentage? I still haven't seen a definitive answer.
@Cruisin with Tooz has done a good job of laying out and organizing the data. His numbers seem to check out so I’ll trust that the #2 pick is the worst case scenario at this point.

It's a done deal. 2nd pick at worst. Root for the Giants to beat Cowboys in early game next week. That would lock up #1 pick and make our game outcome irrelevant.
I still think we beat Chiefs this week. No clue how they were in that game last week. QB had 50 yards passing and they had a total of 140 yards for the game.

SF plays Saturday and Cin and NO have early sunday games. We can clinch #1 by the time our game starts even if the Giants lose if SF, Cin and NO have all won.

Seattle is going to be tough in SF, especially with a 1 week bye on the line...Niners defense has been putried, give Darnold time, he will pick 'em apart, SF better pray for a rain field. The more likely is that after how NYG played against us, they should have a good time at home against the Cowboys.

I was fine with Jeanty in rd 1, but Bech in round 2 was a real head scratcher.
Well I wanted Burden there instead of Bech..Luther will be legit

The the best that the Chargers can do is a W/C spot...so they will rest quarterback Justin Herbert vs the Donks.
"Herbert, who will not dress out for the game, has been playing through a fractured left hand since Week 13. Harbaugh said other starters could also be held out of Sunday's game."
This is blatant tanking !

K, well no, that is not tanking. Tanking is losing intentionally. Holding out your QB so he is fresh for the playoffs is strategy. They cannot win the division so there is nothing to gain, but they have a lot to lose if Herbert were injured in that final game. Think 2016 Raiders. If Carr is not injured in that game, he might have, and I say might have very loosely, propelled us to a victory. Not that we were in a situation where we could have held out starters. But Harbaugh sitting his golden goose is not tanking. They will play to win regardless of who is out there.

Dave, I am not doubting you and HOPE you are right. Just curious where you are getting this from. Please don't say its from Reddit. There are so many conflicting scenarios out there it would make your head spin. I know another poster was talking definitively the past week or two when there were a ton of conflicting articles/scenarios to what he was saying.
I know this simulator backs up what you and Tooz are saying. Hopefully its legit.
Way too much thinking going on. Raiders will lose Sunday. Simple as that.

Oline should've been the main concern heading into this last offseason and draft. Anyone Thinking this line was ok with Glaze, Parham, Meredith and Cappa as starters was an idiot. Instead this genius team takes a rb at 6 overall
Well hopefully this is true & Spytek saw it the same way
There is a chance this franchise digs itself out of this shit hole next season. It’s predicated on a few things:
- Securing #1
- Firing Pete
- Allowing Spytek to operate as his job indicates
- Hiring a new, preferably young offensive HC
- Spending big in FA on OL
- Drafting Mendoza
This may not be fast turn around, but pairing a young GM with a young HC with a young QB allows the franchise to grow. The amount of cap we have also gives a window of hope of turning over the roster quickly. The cap space and pick(s) should be very enticing to prospective HC candidates.
It would also be really nice to have that pick locked in before we play the chiefs so we don’t have to sweat it out. But…it’s the raiders so…
