Forget Ivan. This guy is awesome. How do we get him a job as an NFL GM somewhere so we can get a couple first rounders for Carr?
Raiders don't deserve to get any compensation. Raiders should do the honorable thing and release him.

And if there is 'karma' in the world, Raiders will bring Jacobs back, run the '17 points per game' 'ground, pound and punt' offense and go 6-11 again. Raiders fans will blame it on Carr. But he won't be here and neither will any draft picks to replace him.

You get what you pay for! And Raiders crapped on Carr's career... so why should they be rewarded for it? AL would have never treated Carr the way that the Raiders GMs mistreated Carr.

Everybody, and I mean everybody, knew that going back to the Jacobs dysfunctional offense would cause the Raiders to have a losing season and cause Carr to have below average stats. Waller sat out half of the games and played like crap in most of the rest of them. Carr took the blame for Jacobs and Waller.

Fine. 6-11 with Jacobs in 2023. That's what Raiders fans deserve. More losing. Without Carr.

I will watch it anyway because it is entertainment, not football. The screaming fans... a stadium filled with the opponent's fans...

who knew? I can handle another 6-11 season without any hope of the playoffs in 2023.
You could have just answered,”I hope the Raiders get nothing fir him” and saved a bunch of blah blah blah ;)
\ Desperation is real for QB's in the NFL. If you don't think it is, read the NY Jets message board.
You seem to forget that considering current back up QB's around the NFL, some starting NFL QB's who have fallen out of favor, the upcoming draft etc.... there are literally dozens of QB's available.
Carr has revealed his numerous deficiencies so I don't understand why you believe any team would be clamoring for his services. Your posts seem to imply that Carr is the only QB available, that there is a shortage of QB's a team could sign, but that is not actually the situation.

On Twitter the latest tweet I saw was Washington,Jets, and Saints.

I just don’t see him going to New York.it’s cold and they have to play at Buffalo and at New England…cold. Plus,I think Saleh and Jimmy G connection is legit and he is a FA I believe. No picks.

Washington is a nice underrated squad.Young and a good DL with a few nice pieces on offense.Like I mentioned earlier in the thread,Del Rio and Rivera were good players and tough guys.I don’t think they go with the sis to lead their team.

Saints remain my choice just because of Allen. They have a decent D and Allen probably thinks higher of Carr than most…even though he couldn’t get to the 50 against them

On the Interweb I still see some believe Carr is a top 10 QB. I really hope there is a GM out there that believes the same

Your posts seem to imply that Carr is the only QB available, that there is a shortage of QB's a team could sign, but that is not actually the situation.
Not quite. Good, bad or indifferent Carr has been a starter for (most of) 9 years. He’s put up pretty solid stat lines for the most part and holds most of the Raiders team passing records.

To say Carr isn’t significantly better than the briefcase QBs that spot start on different teams every year… the NFL seems to disagree. Barring Garropolo and Carr there’s no obvious upgrades available for most of these teams. And even that’s not an apples to apples comparison considering the team they played for, starting experience and garropolo being notoriously injury prone while Carr has been incredibly durable.

Perhaps more importantly - every coach and GM of these teams rumoured to be interested in Carr is fighting to keep their job. Realistically you’re looking at a substantially higher trade price to move up for a rookie QB that may not work out. And even if they do - they may not deliver quick enough to save your job. Or you take a shot on a 9 year starter that has put up solid numbers on a highly dysfunctional team - think you can produce better results with him.

I’ll be anxiously awaiting those 3 days after the Super Bowl…

I’m not a cap expert…I leave that to other guys on here, but I did a little digging and the Saints are still in hell. The great Payton really screwed them lol. With that said there is always ways to move numbers around I guess, but it seems unlikely they could afford Carr. Hope I’m wrong.
