I'll still argue that Campbell was just as effective as Carr
He absolutely was. He was really coming into his own when he got injured. Whatever one may say about Hue Jackson, his offense suited Campbell's skillset and within that scheme Campbell was able to make good things happen (his play fake was unreal).
Basically grew up in a church, and I will also not knock anyone's faith. I have however met some of the most celf centered people in church. Faith doesn't necessarily change who a person is deep down. The I need to forgive them even if they don't deserve it line just screams celf centered professional victim.
The Raiders are the ones who should be the forgiving Carr, not the other way around. Carr saying he carried the Raiders for 9 years while collecting million dollar game checks is bullshit.
Carr needs to apologize and ask the Raiders for forgiveness for collecting over 100 million dollars, while having the most losses by a starting QB in his 1st 9 seasons.
Carr is an ungrateful crybaby, at least JaMarcus Russell gave thanks to Al Davis for all the money he made from the Raiders.
Carr was given the longest leash ever given to a mediocre ass QB by the Raiders and he took advantage of it by cashing in.

If I recall, I was very frustrated with his lack of touch outside the hash marks. His weakness was the touch throw to the outside. Of course we all blew our knees out watching him slide as gracefully as a bull on ice skates. Ouch
Carr was given the longest leash ever given to a mediocre ass QB by the Raiders and he took advantage of it by cashing in.
He might've been given the longest leash by any NFL franchise in the history of the league. Any player, but especially a QB that doesn't produce at a high level just don't last long as a starter. Three years is usually the max unless the player shows significant growth in the latter half of that third season.
Carr was promising in years 1-3. He got a pass for 2017 and we did reset. He was awful in 2018, but got another pass. Then he was awful in 2019. That should've been it. With the number of promising QBs and the draft capital we had, it was obviously time to move on from him.
But nope. In 2020 he actually had a decent season and the fool's gold was shining again.
The 2017-2019 years would've made any other team in the league move him.

Bargain basement Joel Osteen. What an absolute charlatan. The comments on YouTube are proof that there are enough buffoons that'll eat it up.

I have no issue with Carr preaching but I also have no interest in seeing it. I want a QB for the Raiders - that is all.

All the signs are there.
Low and behold there's poor Derek saying how he's been done wrong and is being noble and I find it hilarious.
Comedy gold.
Nothing like millionaires talking about how they have been mistreated. Really??????? Lost touch much?
I just think someone needs to give him a shake.
I do find it beyond ridiculous that he is on a stage and people are actually eating up this nonsense.
But it is what it is.

Let people eat it up..... and let people think he's been wronged, it only helps us in a trade.

We were going along well until he went down if I remember.

I thought the knock on Campbell was he was too quick to check down. Not sure he fully evaluated his reads before getting rid of the ball.
I’ll not mock a man for having faith and going to church as I do the same.
Having said that I’ve never heard a sermon be self centered about the Pastor/minister. That brief clip sounded and looked more like a self promotion for a book he is selling about himself.
Good luck D
It's twisted!!

I can't count how many go route passes sailed about 10 yds out of bounds over the wr head
