Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

I think for us though, he might not be part of a 5 year plan but WR seems like a spot where a vet who can come in and give Mendo a go-to target (outside of Brock) would be huge. Even a Keenan Allen (while different stylistically) would fill that need though I doubt he leaves LA.
deebo and keenan allen fit a huge need for fernando "big realiable target and ball mover type", also makes it much tougher to double team bowers

I was dead on 100% right about the Wilkins signing and took a bunch of heat for speaking out against it.

So trust me when I say that we should never EVER sign Deebo buttplug Samuel to this roster. It was a bad move for the Redskins and it would be a horrible move for us.

He's extremely toxic

Open to suggestions. I just think we need some level on insurance in the case that bech and/or Thornton don’t make a big leap. Those two were basically just occupying space most of the time last year

I’m a definite NOPE on Debo &, a HELL NO on Jennings.

Debo has lost two steps already. He was force to fed last year with Wash &, his numbers were still bad when you really look into it. His depth of target was crap &, YPC were shyte. He got so many screens, quick slants, etc, while not creating much after the catch. He’s fat, slower &, not exactly a great locker room guy.

Jennings, I’ve always been of the opinion, he’s extremely overrated. So with the other posters who said the same about him. He’s terrible in man coverage, meh in zone. His numbers only came cause Shanahan’s scheme, having 3-4 elite targets taking up all the defensive attention that, left him wide open so often. Now, I understand some of that is him. He’s at least smart enough to find the soft spots in the coverage but really, who wouldn’t be when you’re not really being covered. He’s a big slower WR that doesn’t create much separation with his speed/breaks in his route running.

I myself would hate these as signings. Even more so at their price tags.

Plus, I think Tucker/Bech will be better than them going forward. & I have a good feeling about Thornton. Not sure if he’ll breakout this year but, maybe next. While providing some value this year too.

Despite some great FA pickups, RT/NT still are question marks. How comfortable should we be, these holes can be filled through the draft with starters?

Both can easily be addressed in the draft. RT in the 2nd and DT can be had in the 3rd or 4th since its deep this year.

Perhaps, but hunting for needs in the draft can lead to major reaches

Meh. This is a trenches draft. The guys in the 2nd through 4th round are gonna be rated fairly evenly.

They have signed three off of that list thus far.

Which starting caliber RT do think will still be on the board when we’re on the clock in Rd 2?

Wishful thinking on the top 2, if either of them are available and we don’t take them, then our GM is an idiot, unless of course he addresses the need before the draft, then hopefully McDonald’s or Hunter are there.

Agree on Keenan, I think Deebo fulfils the same idea. We’re not in position to get a young star WR this year, but we can get away with a guy that can reliably get open on 3rd downs and provide some easy, short completions.
Both Spytek and Brady have hinted at it.
