Exactly. It's not as clear as people try to make it - no matter which side of the fence they're on.SkullCrusher wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:37 pm Figure for two quality picks, one will work out. Will they work out as good as Crosby? Probably not. Does the years make up for it? Maybe.

Rather get a couple good draft picks if in fact we do trade Maxx. Hard to imagine Carter being a stand up citizen in Vegas with a pocket full of cash at that young age. He has a lot of growing up to do as we’ve all been young before, making horrible decisions. If his character was right he’d be a problem for opponents tho but it’s just a bad gamble.

Every night Carter would be in Vegas would be like spinning the roulette wheel on whether or not he would do something stupid & end up in jail...just saying.

I don’t think there are enough hours in the day for Attyla to be the Silver dollar sportsbook for those bets but it would make the off season fly bypfish57 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:53 pm Every night Carter would be in Vegas would be like turning the roulette wheel on whether or not he would do something stupid & end up in jail...just saying.

It may be as simple as not being able to afford all the talent they'll need to sign in the near future.RI RAIDER wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 12:52 pm I do not like Carter as he is a piece of shit. There is no denying his talent, but he is the last person the Raiders should want. I would add, there are GM's in all sports that you should never deal with (or risk getting your pants pulled down). Roseman is one of those guys (like Presti in basketball). Stay far away Raiders.

We dont need a choir boy, its the Raiders we need some renegades. As long he's available to play come game day we're good.Viper wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:44 pm Rather get a couple good draft picks if in fact we do trade Maxx. No way if it's straight up. 27M 5th year salary slated for 2027. Rumblings of 35M per. Based in Vegas. I still stick to the minimum of 2 1st rounders.Viper wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:44 pm Rather get a couple good draft picks if in fact we do trade Maxx. This team needs leadership & structure before they worry about renegades being on the teamtatalalicious wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 3:04 pm We dont need a choir boy, its the Raiders we need some renegades. As long he's available to play come game day we're good.

I feel the same way about Jalen as I do Pickens. I love his play style, and I’m not sure he’s even hit his ceiling yet. I’d love to have the Jalen Bot 2000, the robot who plays football like Jalen but doesn’t have Jalen’s human flaws.
If we got him, it would be hard not to be excited, but the folks who say it’s a big gamble have a good point…

Since he joined the NFL, apart from the spitting (seems a case for Prescott spitting in his direction first), any other serious issues on or the field?
Because he looks transformative, frankly.
