3-0 party in NO post game thread

The Raiders are a real football team this year! What else needs to be said. From coaching to how they are playing they are a legit team. For the first time since 2021 we are 3-0 and we made the playoffs this year.

1 White and Masses deserve active roster spots. White has been catching touchdown. and masses has been getting picks.

2 The defense was a lot like the 2016 defense today. The Saints scored a lot on them BUT they made up for it by getting numerous turnovers. If you can’t make em punt. That is a viable alternative.

3 Dean has completely changed this defense. Best FA signing in years.

4 Klint showed what he is made off as a coach when his team was down 11. So far he is the best HC we have heard since Gruden 1.0 and coaching makes a huge difference

5 We missed Bowers, he opens so much for the offense.I expect things to get easier for the running game with him back.

6 Let’s not fight over Jeanty and Washington. If they are one two punch that only helps the Raiders. Klint’s offense is based on the run so if they are both productive that is only good.

Seems like it's starting to be a wasted pick

dolphins gave em all they could handle yesterday and the chiefs lost snead and are very thin at cb now, dolphins also had some success running the ball vs the chiefs front line

raiders are gonna be a problem for the chiefs with brock bower/mayer combo attack, all we need is for jeanty/washington to be effective and we could have the chief off balance on defense

Mike Washington rushed five times for 54 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 3 win over the Saints.
Washington looks spry and powerful, as usual, but remains limited to a small workload despite starting RB Ashton Jeanty getting his ankles checked early in the game. Washington scored on the Raiders’ sixth drive on a run up the middle. Initially, it looked like the Saints had him bottled up when he met the linebackers just beyond the line, but Washington kept his legs moving and exploded out to the right and took off down the sideline and into the end zone. The officials initially ruled Washington out of bounds inside the Saints’ one-yard line, but Raiders coach Klint Kubiak challenged the spot and won. Touchdown. Washington remains an elite bench stash and touchdown-dependent FLEX in Week 4 against the Chiefs. - Nic Bodiford

Rams and at least one Broncos game, I expect to be victories. Patriots are beatable too. The Chiefs, Bills, Seahawks and teams of that ilk are the only games where I just want to see a competitive game.
The cool thing with the Chiefs is we know we can win, we've beat them with a bad team vs their SB winning team. Not that they don't typically smoke us, but we've had really bad teams beat them or compete with them to the end. This time we'll be more competent than normal.

There was one run of Jeanty's that got a bit under my skin, there was a large ball of humanity together right in the middle of the line, like nearly everyone balled up in it. To the left side was a large gap and he just ran into that humanity for a short gain. I was thinking Washington probably bounces that for a big gain.

Jeanty dances a bit too much ...Washington just goes and has the explosiveness to get large chunks from inside or outside.

Also - I remember back in the day kind of liking the Saints and their fans. They seemed almost like an NFC Raiders-lite type team, aesthetically at least.

They still seem to have a lot of great fans, but I was surprised how irritating so many of them are now/were during this week.
Saints fans are assholes. Every time we play them they're outright nasty. Another fanbase that are total pricks are Bills fans.

I can confirm the Bills fans are not the “lovable losers” that many (including here) perceive them to be.

I should've written "under the radar" asshole fans.

Bills fans traveling to away games sing that Nah-Nah-Nah, Hey, Goodbye song when their team wins. I saw it the first time back when we played in L.A.

Sore winners are far worse than sore losers.

Also how the FUUUCKK do you get "Shuck" out of Shough?? Next time I say "although" I'm going to say alshuck. Saints fans can f[raiders_icon]ck off. They're pretty high & mighty for being famous as the paper bag over the head team. Their whole history is Drew Brees. I can't comprehend it. Ass organization but they think their high level

There are assholes in every fanbase. But there are also great fans for every fanbase, including our rival division fans. I have many Saints fans who are really good and knowledgeable guys. And I know some real pricks as well. When I am at their games down in NO I run into both. Just like when I go to a Chiefs game at KC. I think it really boils down to "am I being the asshole which causes them to respond in like manner" or am I being cool which will get many likewise responses? You will run into jerks who are just jerks but you will also run into good guys who become jerks because you are the asshole. I honestly think at least 80% of the time (or more) most fans are just passionate and in the heat of the battle they just let their passion off the leash.

And alcohol plays a part. I typically step away from the forum during the game because I am relaxing with a drink in hand. Some of the truly dumb stuff said during the game would not affect me normally, but me being lit up would cause me to say something that could get me banned for a bit. Happens to several guys I know.

We need to run Ashton to the outside more, we cannot create holes up the middle.

Maybe his family has pronounced it that way for decades, if not for centuries? Why are the Saints fans so high and mighty? For complaining about what they see as bad calls? If people checked out our Forum for the last decade they might say we could f[raiders_icon]ck off too. In any case, who last won a Super Bowl, the 'Aints or the Bad Ass Raiders?
