In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.

As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,

Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:

* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

"The Best Damn Chili I Have Ever Had" and Irish whiskey.

Breadsticks on the side and because my wife cannot handle the heat I will add some homemade habanero hot sauce to spice mine up a bit. Just a few dashes, just enough to get some kick to it.

oh and the secret to a good habanero hot sauce? A carrot of course. I helps thicken the sauce a bit and adds just a bit of sweetness to the final product. I wish this was my recipe but I am just the piano player here.

Slow cooker pot 'o beans (not chili) from dry, seasoned with whatever I put my hands on in the spice cabinet (lots of onion too of course)

Tortillas from a place in town called Carrillo's, hand made by them. Carrot sticks and green onions as a side; momma always told me to eat my vegetables. Fall has not yet arrived in So Cal so still on my summer beer: Pacifico.

Trying something new tonight. A crockpot italian sausage and potato casserole. has crumbled italian sausage, diced onions, sliced red potatoes and green beans topped with parmesan cheese swimming in an italian cream sauce. don't know how it will go but the house smells wonderful.
