Is it too hopeful to think Carr will take a team friendly discount so we could afford more talent and alas win more meaningful games? (playoff games????)
maybe a bit but his agent is going to want market value, whatever that is, based on his performance this year (and maybe next?)

It also boils down to whether Mark keeps Mayock or not and whether Bisaccia sticks or not. If we get a new GM, he is going to want his coach, and a new coach is going to want his QB (which might end up being Carr, who knows?) We all know Mayock was a puppet GM who is now holding the bag in a new position of power. We also know that Bisaccia is an unknown at the helm, good first week, who knows the rest of the way.
ummm, most of us were posting in that thread before you joined up for the second time

and frankly, it is like maybe the 8th such thread. Memories around here are long so nobody is forgetting a thing
Yeah By my count there has been at least 5 threads that were hundreds of pages long. A few combined and a few locked.

Gruden created this Carr. Gruden's play calling was too complex and was predictability conservative. Gruden also created a Carr that is a leader. We are doing this with one of the worse Oline's in football. It is amazing to see Carr's confidence and leadership. He is a different person and never would have progressed like this without Gruden. However, Gruden has been holding him back the last year with play calling.
