On to the Rams
Raiders are hosting a team many picked to win the Super Bowl this week but the Rams are really struggling.
Maybe this is the breakthrough win after near things again the chiefs and Bills.

Maybe we will be able to run the ball.

I have this horrible gut feeling that Puka will have one of those "most catches in a NFL regular season game" or "most receiving yards in a NFL regular season game". Similar to when Nick Foles of all people through for 7 TDs against them.
No pash rush. No win.

He just had a 17 catch 24 target game. So it's not out of the questionDeathStar24 wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2026 5:08 am I have this horrible gut feeling that Puka will have one of those "most catches in a NFL regular season game" or "most receiving yards in a NFL regular season game". Losing Adams is a big deal. He has been having a great year and he makes it easier for Puka. Plus our pass rush vs. the Bills was really good at times (no thanks to Koonce)DeathStar24 wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2026 5:08 am I have this horrible gut feeling that Puka will have one of those "most catches in a NFL regular season game" or "most receiving yards in a NFL regular season game". Those injuries for the Rams are pretty darn devastating and they are falling out of the race in the tough NFC West. I think we win this game by at least a TD.

Maybe someday I'll have confidence that we should win games like this, but seeing how to lose in infinite ways over the last 20+ years has left me with football PTSD.
Stafford does look washed and they have a lot of significant injuries, but we've all witnessed how that's worked out for us.

I do not have a good feeling about this game because of our D. Zero pass rush, our lead CB does not keep his eye on the ball and is oblivious to the ongoing play, and our D is good for at least 2 blown assignments per game.

I wonder if Aaron Donald would've un-retired if he knew Garrett and half their team would be in the medical tent. HahaLayneStaley wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2026 2:50 pm
We are winning this one. If MG is out too we have to be able to run next week.

As much as I would like to feel confident we will win this.... I don't. Until the defense starts to tackle, stop the run and rush the QB..... losses will pile up.

I think we definitely have a chance to win this game since the Rams are so banged-up.

I don’t know; the raiders really do have a bad defense but I think that more to do with that they really don’t have a nose tackle; but I will say this; it always take about 7-8 games for the defense to jell under a new DC…

So far, the Raiders have won all of the games we were supposed to. This will be our toughest "supposed to win" game of the season. Hopefully we can pull it out.

Even with the Rams injuries I don't see this as a "supposed to win" game...just saying.mranquales wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2026 10:36 am So far, the Raiders have won all of the games we were supposed to. This will be our toughest "supposed to win" game of the season. Hopefully we can pull it out.

The line is Rams by 4.5 so its definitely not a supposed to win game. Rams have been a disappointment but they were a superbowl favorite to start the year

Its Turnovers...first three games led the league in turnovers. One TO in the last three games and failed to capitalize on the one. Win the turnover margin, win the game.
