So here is another look at the new team, and hopefully the view is better, especially on the D.
What are you watching, what are you wanting, and most importantly we need to get out of there without harm to anyone.
Time to see more, and hopefully a few of the youngsters start to shine.

See whom of Bech, Benson, and to a lesser extent Thorton, can make their case for WR3
DL and secondary need work
If Mendoza can build upon last week
JPJ and Rogers at RG

Texans are playing none of their starters. Im hoping for the O line to get some solid time together. Leave a unit in for a while as a whole.
Mostly hoping for no injuries
I have tried to find verification that the Texans are not using any starters. Care to reference it?

Thanks for the reference to what is up. I remain a bit perplexed at how little starters are playing in preseason games these days, especially since they went to just three games. I thought they would play more with one few game, but instead they are playing less. I just think that some teams will not be that well-prepared going into the season openers. For the Raiders, with so many changes, I would think they would play first and second teamers quite a bit.

Arizona started the game 10/10 on passes. Anything would be better.
Watching Mendoza is the real fun.
I had to check this... I asked is there any possible way to get two completions on the same play, making 11/10 possible.
Good news: No.

The coach yesterday said they got enough work with the joint practices and the starters would sit. Today he said they will play some. Not sure how much

It seems like the starters hardly play any more and it shows in the first week or two of the regular season. Lots of upsets. Hell we beat the Patriots

I just read they changed their mind and will play around 25 plays.
Preseason strategy at its finest.

Letting Stroud get some confidence against a not very good Raiders D seems like a no brainer after his perormance last year in the playoffs.

Houston wont be playing many if any starters tonight. So hopefully our defense will look good playing against the backups. Im not sure how many we are sitting but aside from Crosby I cant see resting many of the players on our defense. The offense hopefully we rest the impact players, or at least limit them to only a series or so.
