Succession Plan
Probably doesn’t need its own thread but I thought it would be Brady. Or is that still Brady?

Good news is he’s considered to have that Midas touch when it comes to investing and he did invest in us. Bad news all his other stuff was tech oriented.

That’s why Native Americans were so superstitious about pictures, a women can magically become pregnant if she’s in a photo with a man.

Had to look up “Dr” Lightning. A digital creator and nurse practitioner known as the “Hormone Honey”. So if any of you are looking to begin a TRT regimen, she’s your gal.

Nobody should go to bed asking,”What is that baby going to look like?”

Legally maybe but there is no way any woman would let the likes of Bowlcut father their kid.

No difference than last time Doofus was in a pic with some girl in a push-up bra. It’s Doofus. In a pic. Next to a girl. She’s as romantically connected to Doofus as anyone here at RS.RaiderandBulldog wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 3:15 am Legally maybe but there is no way any woman would let the likes of Bowlcut father their kid.

I believe the recent rule changes allow legacy owners to possess as little as a few percent of the company while still being in control. If I had to guess Mark isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He can liquidate almost all of his stakes and hold 1% of the Raiders but still be the controlling owner. But it makes sense to start looking at a succession plan.SkullCrusher wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 5:08 pm Would this be like near immediately or a succession plan for down the road?
NFL teams are starting to approach 10 billion for 100% stake, right? Do the math from there.
Mark could buy the whole WNBA.
While it's comforting to hear that Brady is Durban's boy, it's somewhat concerning for me to think of a Raiders without the Davis family. The whole Ravens fiasco shows that if there is anything the Raiders have to be proud about, it's the class and commitment to treating their employees right. I hope the family/community the Davis's have built over the decades is retained in the transition to a less football oriented owner.

I’d gladly trade any Mom & Pop Shop aw-shucks for an organization short on embarrassment and long on wins. It’s way past time for the Davis chapter to end.NoThanksSir wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 4:59 am I believe the recent rule changes allow legacy owners to possess as little as a few percent of the company while still being in control. NFL owners are scheduled to vote on a Raiders succession plan giving Silver Lake co-CEO Egon Durban “the option to purchase a majority stake in the team from longtime owner Mark Davis.”
Per ESPN’s Seth Wickersham, sources indicate that Davis says he does not currently intend to sell his majority stake. The vote would only give Durban the option to buy a majority stake from Davis if Davis were to sell. Should that scenario play out, NFL owners would still need to approve Durban as the new controlling owner. Four sources also say that NFL owners “will also vote on Davis selling roughly 7% of the team to Durban and another limited partner, Michael Meldman.” If it passes, the sale would put the Raiders’ valuation at nearly $10 billion. The votes will take place at the annual league meeting, which starts on March 29th.
so mark davis would be worth around 4.5 billion ???

We have more championships than Baltimore and the Davis family can hold their head high knowing they treated their employees like humans with families. You can take the Ravens, I'll keep losing with a team I'm proud to be a fan ofGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 5:23 am I’d gladly trade any Mom & Pop Shop aw-shucks for an organization short on embarrassment and long on wins. Supposedly it is over 40%. Gotta be careful that if there is a sale, it might not be from Davis' Stake. The Durban / Meldman Sale in late 2024 where each received 7.5% stake did not come entirely from Davis. They were labeled as original Raider Investors, Boscacci and Lovingfoss.mstrbass2000 wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 7:03 am so mark davis would have sold 17% of the club in the last few yrs ??? does anyone have a count of what the davis family now controls

At the very end that even matters more than rings for those involved.NoThanksSir wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 11:51 am The Davis family can hold their head high knowing they treated their employees like humans with families.
LV should get the best FA's not because of taxes, because of they are always rated the best for people/family, players should value that a bit more than they do while they are playing and not just wait until after their career.
