Walker has been in the NFL for four seasons now, and has earned PFF grades below 60.0 in all four of those years. He's coming off a season that saw him earn a 40.9 PFF coverage grade that was tied for 11th worst among linebackers, and it's tough to square that level of performance with this contract. On the plus side, he is one of the better tacklers in the NFL, ranking 9th at the position with a 6.7% missed tackle rate last season.

Kwity Paye should get 1 of the OLB spots before Koonce/Snowden.

What makes you think that. He’s been a 4-3 DE and projects to more of a 3-4 OLB than DE

Feels like Walker is a solid get. Good tackler and against the run but terrible in coverage. We can hide that some in a 3-4. Maybe a little overpay but we need to spend. Not expecting him to be great or terrible. We need solid.

This guy is a defensive end. An undersized one to playing in a 3-4. They would have to try him out at linebacker.

Just because our Base Defense is changing to a 3-4 doesn’t mean we won’t also be running 4 man fronts , just not as frequent

Quay Walker is the 1st round pick we gave up to Green Bay to get Devante Adams..Spytek making things right!

It's obvious Spytek's philosophy on defense is to stop the run.
