AFC & NFC Championship games Sunday 1/25
I am a fan of none of these teams and favor none. Some great defense will be on display for sure in both games.

Charbonet is out. That hurts Seattle, and I am not slighting Walker.
Bronco’s have no Nix and I can’t see a way forward for them.
Both games may give us a better look into two of our coaching candidates.
Kubiak is going to have to adjust to not having half of his 2 headed monster in the running game
We should get better insight on how well Webb prepares Stidhem.
I’ll take the Rams and the Pats.
I’m on record as liking both Webb and Kubiak so it would be great to see both candidates prove me wrong.

Denver had 70 yards rushing against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, the Bills. 30 of those yards came from Bo Nix. The Patriots have the #1 run defense in the league. Most teams with a dominant defense & a middling QB have a very good ground game. In this case, Nix was the engine of the offense all year. You have a QB in Stidham who hasn't had a regular season snap in 2 years who isn't going to have a running game to lean on.
The Pats O game plan needs to involve 6 O-linemen or having a tight end chipping off the blind side every single passing snap. That's a non negotiable if they don't want at least one horrific strip sack. Bonnito is that good. The Pats can run the ball well with two backs, they spread the ball around in the passing game. Pats have the advantage
Rams Seahawks I don't care. Truly either way. The Seahawks have the better defense and ground game. The Rams have the better QB and passing attack. Their defense gives up more yards and points but still makes a lot of opportunistic plays.

Usually the team with the best QB wins these type of games, but Seattle is just on fire.
Seattle vs Patties.

I hope the Seahawks lose in a f[raiders_icon]cking shootout so we can hire Kubiak already. Unlikely, but that's my hope.

Darnold has been shaky against the Rams but Seattle is a tough place to get a win. They should handle the Rams but McVay and Stafford don't read the papers or watch the news or give a f[raiders_icon]ck about tough places to play.
I don't see Denver winning and I am f[raiders_icon]cking tired of the Patriots. My guess is that whoever wins the NFC championship will win it all.
I would love to see Stidham bathe in Josh McDaniels tears.

At this time of year, all the games are tough games. And every team is ready for the moment. Well, except for the 49ersSuperRaider wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 11:58 pm You got to remember that Denver is at home in which is a tough place to play….

Denver has one of if not the best pass rush in the game, Maye is a fumble machine, can the Pats run the ball is big. The biggest question in this game is Stidham. If Denver can't run the ball or fall behind and have to go to the air, they are screwed. Seattle, LA? One has to favor Seattle probably the better team as a whole. Stafford is the best QB, on a roll and, if given time can pick any team D apart. This one could come down to mistakes. If Seattle does win, surely favored I don't think the Rams will get rolled like the. 49ers

No doubt Payton will game plan to mitigate Stidhams limitations. Sean Payton is one of the best so New England had better not sleep on them.Rdrfan1964 wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:04 am Denver has one of if not the best pass rush in the game, Maye is a fumble machine, can the Pats run the ball is big. Seattle is a weird place to play. McVay and Darnold are too seasoned for that to be a factor. They blew a big lead last time they were in Seattle but special teams gaffs allowed the Seahawks to fight back into it.
Stafford lit them up for 400+ yards and than Rams offense held the ball for almost twice as long as Seattle did.
Seahawks may be walking a bit tall. It shouldn't be a blowout.
All should be good games, I hope.

Denver's run game has suffered a lot since Dobbins went down, Harvey didn't really step up like a lot though he would, and Sin City Stidham is a complete wildcard at this point. I see a potential thrashing of the Broncos here.

Stidham's game vs the Niners a few years ago was good enough that Cory made a highlight video for it even in a loss. Hope he doesn't play like this for the Broncos on Sunday (he did have a couple of picks in the game too though). Still it's a fun watch, I really wanted us to re-sign him. f[raiders_icon]ck Jimmy G. f[raiders_icon]ck McDaniels.

I am well aware of Bowlcut’s obsession with Brady and his role in the organization. Thank yiu,
