Our goals need to be that we're competitive and showing development instead of looking to get to mid-pack immediately. Then just be happy if we outperform that and get to 8 wins or more.
I keep getting crap by people saying it is too low. A ten win season should be our goal.

I would be happy with 8-9. I would be content with 6-11. I expect 0-17. Just makes every win gravy.

You can hope for 10 wins but don't build the team trying to get to 10 wins. Don't stack the team with vets hoping to win now. Build the team to support growth and development of a young QB. Offensive line first, with enough youth in the unit to hope that the oline is still largely together in a few years. If the wins come in 2026, that's awesome. I hope that's the message to coaching candidates.

Yea, 2016 is what we should do, get that line up to snuff fast. But let's get balance as well. Don't neglect the defense and don't neglect the depth. I am not expecting much next year, just good core players who can learn to play together. Good teaching from the coaches, and a goofy owner who let's his guys do their jobs and he stays out of it and more importantly does not give the media soundbites the derail this thing.

Expectations for rookie qb with all new schemes and systems would be starting out 1-4 or 2-5 but seeing progress and competitiveness. Finishing the season 4-2 or so would be nice where you’ve seen growth and potential for the next year.

Right now we don’t even have HC; let see what happens first with free agency and the draft….right now I see the raiders getting 2 or3 win season…but the games will be closer

If we have a season like 2015 it will be a success. Building and showing signs of improvement. Everything after that is gravy.

Is there a reason you cherry pick only "home games" and dont want to tell the whole story ? Or you just dont know how the NFL works ?

Since Raiders were in last place in their division in 2024 season in 2025 season Raiders played the last place teams from 3 different divisions.

since the Raiders were last place in 2025, Next season, 2026, they will face the last-place teams from the AFC South, AFC North, and NFC South.

Why not tell the whole story ?

Raidernation1979 wrote: Thu Jan 15, 2026 5:46 am That stadium has been blacked out. The raiders let them down. I’m a consumer and Raider fan. I haven’t seen been there because I don’t trust the team. I won’t spend my money on the product we’ve been given. I highly doubt I’m alone in that thought process.

Being a winning team also makes it less attractive to opposing fans for the same reason.
Yep. A trip to Vegas to see your team with an almost guaranteed win in a state of the art facility is worth spending the yearly vacation money on. If we were a good team, a lot of opposing fans would stop coming, especially if we could have sustained success.

When I lived in SoCal the trip to Vegas was only about four hours, but I wasn't going to spend a lot of money to see my team get its ass kicked by nearly any team that walked into the building. If we'd been a playoff team during that time, I would've absolutely made the trip.

That would have been easier to know if you had included the link. I thought you came up with that by yourself. The content creator did not have much of a format.

That’s fine with me. Another top 10 draft pick in 2027 wouldn’t be the worst thing as this organization isn’t a year away and needs a few successive solid drafts to make up for the Gruden years of failed drafting.

There was nothing "cherry picked" regardless of the source...it was a simple statement about how tough Raider home games will be in 2026.

I personally never said it was, just the sourcing was not known so it appeared you were presenting data you personally farmed. The link going into the original post would have been helpful

I made a completely unintentional message board faux pas...the horror.
