Funnily enough we have an actual example of a team first QB who got benched this season and handled it the right way: Matt Ryan got benched twice and was there helping his team not at home.

That’s handling a situation with dignity.

Carr did none of that and deserves 0% respect for how he handled it.

Derek shouldn’t “have to swallow it” and not have his dignity besmirched ? He should have played better… over 9 years, almost 10.
