I have heard the Jets are very interested in Carr (if they do not have to trade for him). They are not willing off picks or have pay him his current salary. They will do a redo on his contract (incentive laden) if/when the time comes. On a side note, they have supposedly stifled info (yeah right) coming out of the organization about Carr because of tampering concerns.
Jimmy G is more likely

Not saying I’m a football genius, but I have seen essentially every snap of Carr’s career. To see what the national media thinks of him is ridiculous and almost weird. It’s obvious to me they haven’t seen many of his games over the years.Maybe just a few highlights I would assume.
Jimmy G is more likely
I can’t see him wanting New York.A cold weather division with a ruthless media. I agree Jimmy G is the guy there.
Washington makes sense unless Del Rio says to Rivera,”You don’t want this guy.”
I don’t know if he is tough enough for Vrabel in Tennessee, but that’s a spot.
I’ve been hearing a lot of New Orleans.

This is why I hate his guts. The only thing he left on the field was the FOOTBALL when he didn't want a boo boo. He HALF ASSED it much of the time and now is blowing more smoke up our collective ass on his way out. Somebody else can swallow your bullshit now. Good riddance loser.
It's PARTY TIME.
Throwing the ball away on fourth down. Checking down a Hail Mary. Just sickening. The anti-Raider
Don’t forget throwing the ball away on 4th down on more than one occasion, and refusing to throw a called Hail Mary before half time lmao. And Carr refusing to extend his window before his guarantee kicks in actually works against him. If they can’t find a trade partner that quickly and he has to be cut, no way he’s getting $40M on the open market, but maybe that’s fine to him as long as he can stick it to the Raiders by not allowing them compensation for trading him… proves what we all said for a long time, he’s not the brightest bulb in the room. He negotiates his business how he plays Call of Duty, blocks everyone and sticks his fingers in his ears screaming nananananaaaaa at the top of his lungs.
Carr's real exit speech was vocalized by David on NFL Network. Just because Derek didn't speak it himself, that doesn't mean it wasn't his message.
This latest tweet is just a professionally composed message that he and his agent agreed was the best choice for giving him career options going forward.
I tend to agree. If he didn't want any of that said, he wouldn't have let David say it. Imo there's no way David didn't clear that with Derek before hand
I mean, did we not stick it to him also?
Raiders leveraged the contract, why can’t Carr do the same?
He’s not a raider anymore, so it is what it is.
Yep. Carr owes the Raiders nothing and just like any prudent person he needs to look out for his own best interests now. The team did what it felt was necessary when they benched him. It was their right to do so and now it's Carr's right to do what he sees fit.
If Carr makes a decision that the organization perceives as screwing them over, then oh well, tough titties.

Eli Manning, 2 time superbowl mvp was benched and quietly went about his business while the Manning family doesn't make a stink about it.
Derek Carr , historical loser gets benched and he has to leave the team butt hurt while his brother sells a load of crap about Derek being done wrong.

f[raiders_icon]ck the Carrs. All of them. If the Manning name is football royalty, the Carr name is peasant filth. A syphilitic black-death-spewing Midas cast out and turning everything they touch to shit.
