Moore is really talented. He's head and shoulders above guys like Nussmeier and Allar. His ceiling is likely higher than Mendozas talent wise. He's my clear #2 and id still be thrilled to get him at 2 or 3

While I respect your opinion, Moore is likely to go very early in the draft. Some have him ranked #1.Rabidraider wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 7:04 am I like the LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier better than Simpson after Mendoza. Moore isn't even in the conversation for me.
Garrett will end up going to New Orleans with his father the OC.
FWIW, if we do take a 2nd QB later in the draft, I still like Trinidad Chambliss if he's available.

I heard but when I’ve watched him live he’s been dire! Watched most the first half of the play off game and I don’t think he completed a pass. Went to bed and woke up to him lighting it up

I've heard rumors that he may seek another year and try to follow Kiffin to LSU, but who knows.
Guess we'll find out before draft day.
Edit; just reread and I was not sure if you were asking about Chambliss or Moore.

It used to be that these kids were bolting for the draft in two years, now they can collect millions in NIL money while they complete med school.

Can others confirm for me. But if we lose today, and Browns win. We’re going to atleast have a top 2 pick?

I do not think that is true. If we lose today, but win next week. Giants would be ahead of us in SOS tiebreaker. Assuming that Browns win, we have SOS advantage over the other 3 win teams, but its VERY close with the Jets. Depending on other games the Jets could pass us in SOS and get the 2nd pick.WolfRaider wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 10:59 am Can others confirm for me. But if we lose today, and Browns win. Doesn’t compare to a 1st round pick & that ability to get your 2nd contract. Why Moore will come outToast wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:40 am It used to be that these kids were bolting for the draft in two years, now they can collect millions in NIL money while they complete med school.

If a QB is guaranteed to be a top.10 guy, they will come out. Especially after what happened with Allar, Nussmeier, Klubnik et al.
Moore, Mendoza or BPA for me.
Even if we dont get a QB in the first, I would rather not take a QB in the second. Better off investing in our OL, DL or CB.

Of the Browns win they’ll be 2 wins ahead of us so not in the mix. Only the Giants will have a lower SOS to us in the 3 win range from my calculations

As of now that is true, but our SOS lead over the Jets is only .005. Just guessing, but I doubt a .005 lead is insurmountable. Jets could move in front of us. We do have what I think is a very comfortable SOS lead over the other 3 win teams.WolfRaider wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 11:37 am Of the Browns win they’ll be 2 wins ahead of us so not in the mix. This is right. But the schedule does favor us to wind up with the tiebreaker over the Jets.Raider_Dave wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 11:11 am I do not think that is true.
