Thanx for sharing !...really enjoyed it...saw Skynyrd multiple times and went to the same HS Ronnie went to in my home town of Jacksonville.

I'll never forget the day that the plane crash happened...that day I was coincidently to my Grand Parents' house for a couple days when I heard the news on the radio that Ronnie and Steves Gaines and his Sister Cassie were all killed...and it f[raiders_icon]cked up Billy Powell and Allen Collins. And the next morning it was headlines on Jacksonville's Florida Times Union.

Sad day...still play a lot of their stuff and in my younger days I had a VERY short career as a DJ...my DJ name was "The Breeze" and my sign on song was Skynyrd's "Call Me The Breeze"...still my favorite Skynyrd tune...yup, even more than Free Bird.

We dare to hold on to our fate
And steal away our destiny
To catch ourselves with quiet grace"
