maybe I am reading this incorrectly. Are you suggesting that there is an external force that is going to use this situation to intentionally make the Raiders look bad?
No.
McDuMmY LoSt ThE LoCkER RoOm!!!
That's what all the talking heads were saying. I seen a cohesive team rallying around a first time starting qb with ice water in his veins. While a supposedly franchise qb gets benched for the first time and abandoned his teammates because he couldn't take it. Glad to get rid of him. Hope for the best for Stidham, hope he stays at least as backup.
I think the Colts are a more likely destination. Jets have seen Carr play in the cold and Saleh would have more comfort with Jimmy G. as he was with the 49ers and knows the ups and downs of Jimmy G.'s game. Carr would be a bigger gamble for the Jets. Carr playing in a dome with the Colts makes the most sense. If he has more success with another team, then good for Derek. He wore out his welcome here with too many losing seasons and inconsistent play.
I might be in the minority, but New York isn’t exceptionally cold. It’s cold, but not 9th circle of hell cold.
Now if we are talking Buffalo, Denver or Green Bay cold, then I get it.
New York (city) is just “regular” cold IMO.

He does not need bad weather to fold, he merely needs an opposing D that can get pressure and he will fold like a cheap shirt.
My take: Carr will be fully exposed as the loser he is next season....if he does not retire.

Me thinks ol' Dave might be bias, but if #4 has moved on he's moved on, I continue to read he deserved better blah blah blah, so did we, and let's remember he was paid handsomely, he didn't do this for free!!!

Buhbye Carrs. Buhbye Carrstans. Buhbye bullshit.
Hello Raiders.

I don't have a twitter account, but I clicked on the links above to both David and Darren's pages. Both are a little creepy, but I honestly LOL'ed when I saw David actually retweeted this:
