Yeah, nobody watched today’s game and thought, “please bring Derek back”…

Except maybe Cody and Bono.

Stidham might not be the answer for 2023, but he sure looked the part.

The difference between the previous QB and Stidham was night and day.

I do not know how Derek would have performed today, but I do know that Stidham played with heart and passion and without fear. I do not know that Derek would have done so. I also know that the play calling was designed for Stidham. That flies in the face of those who think Carr could be successful in the right system. How many systems does Carr need to figure out which system is right?

350 yards and three touchdowns against the best defense in the league? Definitely pointing towards Carr holding the offense back.

WTF???????? Carr against the Saints could not get past the 50 yard line. Sidham against the BEST D in the league has the team ahead at the half. And did he then go and stop putting up points like Carr....no, he continued to put up points.

Same result.????????? In what dream do you have that Carr could ever put up 34 points against the BEST D? Your savior's stats the last three games: 4 TDs, 6 INTs and averaging less than 200 yards a game. Stidham against the BEST today: 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 365 yards threw the air AND another 34 on the ground giving him over 400 yards and that against the BEST in the league.

I did not miss watching our QB point fingers every time something went wrong. It is great to see a QB who holds himself accountable. You need that in the locker room and on the field.

That 3rd qt TD was something I've never seen from Derek. Throwing the ball knowing you're going to take a big shot.

What a breath of fresh air.
