And Akheem Mesidor on the other side..he’s easily a 1st round talent but if he slips to the 2nd, snag him! Mesidor with Maxx will feed families..

The previous couple of games there were a bunch of third down situations created by run-run on 1st and 2nd too. The OC had a plan, but it fell short of a strategy. Mendoza on third down made it all look better. What's great is how it shows that he's nails when he needs to be.

Well, there is one last thing that needs to happen. It will, it just needs to be completed so that the season is truly over.

Mendoza needs to announce his intention to enter the NFL draft.

When he gets to the NFL, he's not going to make any of those ridiculous exciting runaround and chuck it plays that Caleb Williams did this year. But he's less likely to need them because he's not going to get bored with completing 5 yard passes until the defense creeps up and opens up something deep. Something like a certain Raider minority owner used to do.

Guy,has shown great leadership in the things he says and how he plays, which will be important at the next level.

Agreed. Mendoza led a team to victory against more talented rosters this year, by my count, at least 4 times. He is exactly what is needed to start the change in culture and lead this team. People keep talking about not wanting to trade Maxx because he’s the heart and soul of our team, and an argument can be made either way. But you get Mendoza and he does for this team what he did for Indiana, at the most important position, well, that is worth 10 Maxx Crosbys in my mind.

I have confirmation that Spytek, Davis and Brady were all at the game last night, and no coaches were with them.

How do you get confirmation? Just curious.

Yep.

Not the most exciting but highly effective. Lull the defense to sleep or bore the to death; take your pick.

Then a steady dose of Ashton.

The pieces are all there. No saying we’re going to the Super Bowl, we have way too many holes to plug but there is a very good nucleus of talent to build on.

Adding Mendoza means we have someone who can distribute the ball effectively and scramble when needed.

I’ve said it for years: I don’t want the most expensive and hard to replace position on the team going on designed runs and taking hits. But scrambling ability like Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson or Steve Young? Yes. Enough that the D has to account for it but not enough you risk him getting lit up.

I would say that’s pretty good confirmation then

I think all the confirmation we needed was that the media didn't report coaches being in the box with them. There's zero chance that McDaniel, Evero or whoever could be with them without it getting reported.
