Yawn.
...arguments and/or agendas aside, (generally speaking) i'd say that that probably applies to at least several others on that list after just a quick glance.....

The Seahawks crushed the Saints. :loltears:

Attyla wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 8:48 am Cannot compare Geno in Seattle to Vegas. He had a lot of time to do what he did there and had a vastly better line. He has had 3 games here and our line has been really bad. Geno is not a world beater but he is better than anything we have had in a long time. He is just getting his feet under him and dealing with a line that is shabby. He is also dealing with an OC who does not match up well with his skill set.
Tons of excuses.

He isn't a rookie QB.

Oaktown Superman wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 3:08 pm I kept pointing out to ppl he had 71 TD in three seasons, with 41 in two of them combined. Yet ppl turned a blinded eye to what I said. Plus, he didn’t exactly have scrubs to throw to in Seattle, either. He threw for plenty of yards, but struggled throwing TD’s. He’s the guy we wanted rid of for years.
I can buy into that to a degree there are similarities between him and the "other guy." There are also some differences, if nothing else I don't see us being saddled with Geno for the next (nearly/almost) ten years.

YMMV, but I see Geno much the same as I did previously. He buys us time until we get to a franchise QB.

LayneStaley wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 11:13 am No one else? I don’t see a lot of people calling Jeanty a bust? They are saying maybe we should have fixed the line before drafting a RB but no one is calling him a bust. 144 yards through 3 games as the 6th overall pick seems busty BUT he is not because the line is complete ass. No one on offense besides the line deserves the majority of the blame.
I didn't say anything about Jeanty. WTF are you on about?

I didn't say anything about fixing the O-line before the season either.

What I said was that Geno Smith isn't going to get cut any more slack than any other player. 4 total TDs, two of which came in garbage time, against 4 picks is going to earn shit-giving; and deservedly so. Hell, the guy's been lucky he hasn't been picked more. Throwing up ducks, throwing stupid passes to guys who are tightly double covered, and throwing that gopher ball against L.A. isn't going to earn him any accolades. Yes, the only isn't helping, but neither is he.

Exactly. I love how people just want to tune out the f[raiders_icon]cking hospital balls and triple cover balls. Bad line or not, dude has been mistake prone and it comes down to him not being able to read the field. He's like a slightly glorified Jameis Winston.

Are we back to this pathetic bull where only what you want to matter counts

I don't know man that's a pretty crazy bar, I'm not sure anyone in recent memory is that bad.

The Doom and Gloom club is gonna crucify Geno any game we don’t win no matter what he does so it’s pointless to argue with them. Hopefully the oline gets sorted so we can see proof either way rather than the overreactions of a few.

You have had a man crush on Geno since day one, talking shit all off season, and can't stand anyone pointing out his flaws lol

I don't know how anyone in their right mind is NOT doom n gloom when it comes to this team. The blind optimism is just plain out annoying anymore. Geno Smith is the definition of mediocrity (that's probably being generous) and guys are loving on him.

Nice, clean pocket and he throws it into double coverage.

The O-Line made him do it!

That's seriously who he reminds me of. Maybe a smidge better.
