The conversation should turn from whether Carr can get us to the playoffs to whether we can get anything decent for him in trade once the season's over.

The Saints might give us something good for him.

I'd like to see us start MM, make him the assumed starter going into next season, and then draft a QB to compete for the starting spot. Hopefully we get a new coaching staff can get the most out of whatever the hell we end up with.

That play could've been called PI and it would've been a reasonable call. It's also reasonable that it wasn't called. Whatever the case, Carr isn't entitled to referee assistance in order to accurately evaluate his play.

The only way I'm forgiving Carr is if he comes out in the presser and says that's it's all on him.

Being charitable the loses aren't all on Carr but he is the single biggest factor, QB play is.

The legitimate questions now need to be asked as they should have been years ago: If he is not the problem, is he the solution? Results thus far say he is not the solution.

Second: Is it time to start Mariota, nothing to lose at this point with the season slipping away yet again when we start December. We have seen this movie before... multiple times.

If nothing else, he's a fiery SOB. Either him or MM as the starter + a drafted QB is where we should be headed.
