https://twitter.com/nickesc724/status/1 ... 9854431232
Kind of a bad sport, he made million off of the raiders, he was given multiple opportunities to prove himself. 9 years, 0 playoff wins. Not all his fault but still, most teams after 3 years would have cut him.
What he should be saying is…”thank you to the Raiders organization for a great 9 years of memories” or something along those lines.
Does he not realize he is not a HOF QB? Nothing is given out in this league
Joe Montana ended his career with another team
Brady is ending his career with probably multiple different teams
Manning ended his career with another team
These are just a few I can think of off the top of my head I’m sure there are many many more
And Carr is no where near as good as these guys and he expects to be treated like a GOAT
So sad & funny at the same time lol
If he really holds the ball like he's holding it in that awful tattoo then it's no wonder his accuracy is so bad
Man it seems the younger fans especially were so traumatized by this franshise being awful, that barely mediocre was like winning Super bowls to them. They dont know what its like to actually be good. They think carr is the reason for the "success". They have a losers mentality. So different than us that grew up with this team being dominant. We expect greatness, even after decades of being terrible. I hope Mcd can get a great qb in here and show these folks what they have been missing.
f[raiders_icon]ck that man. I’m 32 and a may not know what a great Raiders team looks like but I know what great teams look like. I know what great quarterbacks look like and Derek Carr isn’t it.

I had all but stopped watching the Raiders the past season and a half or so. When Mcd was hired, I knew they had a plan, and It likely didnt include carr. I felt like game by game he was exposing carr for what he is. When he blamed him for 6 weeks of not throwing the ball well, I knew carr's spell on this team was at an end. It gave me renewed hope. Then we saw carr benched, and all of a sudden I had full hope again. I dont know if it will turn around over night, but I think the FO has big plans moving forward. The contracts they signed players to show me they have about a 2-3 season window starting now. I think this season so far has been mostly evaluating what we have and what we need. This offseason will be huge. 2023 I think the Raiders will be in a frenzy to win games. Players know now you dont perform you are gone, no matter who you are. No more of this scholarship stuff. This will lead to a team that wants to win not just collect an easy paycheck.
I think the wins are coming, and a lot of them. (Probably not the next 2 weeks though lol)

Agree on the whole with your stance, I have never understood why people wear t-shirts with designer names blazoned across the front, they cost a fortune and you end up being a walking billboard for Tommy Hilfiger and the like.

I have one that is a number 12 but it says Attyla on the back. When asked who Attyla was who played for the raiders my typical answer is to say he was a late round draft pick in 1963 as a kicker just to f[raiders_icon]ck with people.
