Tonight’s matchup is in the Bills Brand new Staduim as they host the lions.

I thought it was kinda fun watching Cowboys get beat by the 0-4 Bucs and their undrafted rookie QB.
Not the best executed game ever, but I have a brother who is a Cowboys fan so there is always a bit of fun poking the bear after a loss.Atlasffa wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 7:43 am I thought it was kinda fun watching Cowboys get beat by the 0-4 Bucs and their undrafted rookie QB.
Could've drafted Derwin James too, but Kolton has been more than valuable
I wanted Vea badly, but Miller turned out to be a great pick. One of the few Gruden made in his second go around.raider_kin wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 8:32 am Could've drafted Derwin James too, but Kolton has been more than valuable
Get in line in regards to the 51-3. I live in western NY and hate them to this day.powski wrote: Fri Sep 18, 2026 2:37 am The Bills have a rabid fan base. To the point I think its a cliche to even say it, worded like that.
The Raiders do too, but they might be the only team near ours at that level. They aren't as international a brand though, or even as spread across the country like the Raiders (And even the Cowboys and Bears for example have more cross country fans). I live in Chicago and was born and raised in central IL for example. I was immediately drawn to Raiders as only team I wanted to follow when I became a football fan in 5th grade.
Near a bar I used to watch the games in Chicago is the main bar Bills fans go to watch games. Delilahs.
Id drop in sometimes and can attest to the rabid-ness. Always packed, there early, and fired up. Brutal weather had no affect on attendance either, of course.
I even saw Marv Levy drop by there on a football Sunday. Actually he went there then stopped by the bar I was at with a small entourage. He seemed like a cool guy.
I still hold a grudge against them for that 51-3 playoff beating over the Raiders in the 90s. I remember sitting cross-legged in front of my stove (????!!) and beating my head against it for a long time during the 2nd half of it. I am insane, too.
But I definitely respect that their fan base is so hard-core and dedicated.
Well, you always have the "wide right" comeback.Willmark wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 9:02 am Get in line in regards to the 51-3. I live in western NY and hate them to this day.
That was glorious to watch.
Or a picture of an empty trophy case, that's always a good one.
trust me, I know. they do a good job of thinning the herd in Survivor with games like this... there will be more. I tend to stray away from the overwhelming favorite pick for that reason. I actually survived all 18 weeks last year, but my point differential was well over a hundred less than the winner... shit's hard.Rabidraider wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 5:30 am I figured a prime time game vs a rookie QB on a team playing crappy in Dallas was a solid pick. Out of all the games this week it seemed the safest.
Cowboys are like Raiders late 2000s. When Jerry passes his son will take over too and probably make the same mistakes..No end in sight for their fans.Atlasffa wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 7:43 am I thought it was kinda fun watching Cowboys get beat by the 0-4 Bucs and their undrafted rookie QB.
Sister, bro in law and family are huge 'Boys fans but I love them dearly so I dont poke. And there have been opportunities believe you meAttyla wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 7:46 am Not the best executed game ever, but I have a brother who is a Cowboys fan so there is always a bit of fun poking the bear after a loss.
And the employee who gave Dak the business after the game? Priceless. He is so overrated.
I agree but I also think Gru got lucky there. Kolton was a bit of a project but he did come throughRabidraider wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 8:38 am I wanted Vea badly, but Miller turned out to be a great pick. One of the few Gruden made in his second go around.
Even worst cause I think Jerry has grandkids, we know Bowlcut won’t leave us with any idiot kids when he goes.ALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2026 1:41 pm Cowboys are like Raiders late 2000s.
