‘26 Offseason Roster Moves

Raiders Reserve/Future Signings

“The Raiders announced they have sighed Chris Collier RB, McClendon Curtis G, Jamin Davis LB, Phillip Dorsett II WR, Treven Ma'ae DT, Joshua Miles T, Albert Okwuegbunam Jr. TE, Brenden Rice WR, Layden Robinson G, Justin Shorter WR, Laki Tasi OL, and Dalton Wagner T to reserve/futures deals.

The most notable player from that list is offensive lineman Laki Tasi. The Raiders are big on him as he is learning the game of football. Tasi is from the International Player Pathway Program. He is developing and could be a huge factor for the Silver and Black in the future. The other one is linebacker Jamin Davis. Davis is a former first-round pick by the Commanders in 2021.”

Las Vegas Raiders

In a presumed one-quarterback draft, the Raiders hold all the power with the first overall pick. That alone is enough to put them on this list, but when paired with the second-most cap space available in the NFL, it becomes the cherry on top. Las Vegas is still searching for its next head coach, but if this offseason is navigated correctly, the future looks promising.

The Raiders enter the 2026 offseason with $81.3 million in available cap space to supplement a roster that is young but already features several promising building blocks. Assuming Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is the selection at No. 1 overall, he would step into an offense headlined by budding superstar tight end Brock Bowers and 2025 sixth overall pick running back Ashton Jeanty.

Las Vegas still has clear roster weaknesses, but with ample cap space, the Raiders should be able to add protection for Mendoza and additional receiving talent through free agency, accelerating the rebuild around their presumed franchise quarterback.
Technically this draft is a 2 QB draft with a number of developmental options as well. Kosko is a pretty good writer with some decent connections but he got that one piece wrong. Simpson may not be elite at this time but almost every draft projection I have seen has him a first rounder, some as high as just outside the top 10. I think his combine and or pro day will move him up into the top 10 if he performs well.

This is just hearsay, but I'd be surprised if Diana Russini just made this shit up.

Worded to get clicks....the whole thing she said doesn't make it sound as dramatic and it's 100% speculation on her part

Yea it very well could be, I was just bringing it to the forum as I hadn't seen it posted yet. I'm in the camp that Maxx should be traded but I'm not convinced it's a possible outcome just yet. I do think that folks shouldn't underestimate his crashout at the end of the year. Maxx having to remove himself from the facility due to how upset he was while Bowers was on the sideline during game day was a bad optic. One that I think will factor in Maxx's future while we try to build a football program that is winning long after he retires

Two top 100 picks would be my price. With the Patriots they'll be end of round. I'd happily take a first and a 2nd. Maybe a third pick swap. But if I could turn a 30 yr old oft injured, locker room diva into two 20 yr old starters I pull the trigger immediately

I remember many on this forum saying Roberts was as good or better than Spillane what a joke, and we paid Koonce 12 Mil while the Pat's gave Chassion 3.75 Mil just doesn't make sense!
