 It's actually a very primitive thing the hang your hat on as a gotcha.
Other than you being factually wrong as usual.

no it is a reality that your "starter caliber" QB has been released because teams release starter caliber QBs all the time. I mean just the other day, Mahomes was released and signed to the Chiefs.

Hooker is not even on their roster, he is on their practice squad because that is where you put starter caliber QBs :loltears:

I just don't know why people feed into troll behavior. They aint even worth the time it takes for me to type a post.

Dude talked up Hendon Hooker and said we need to take a WR in the 1st round. Nuff said.

We need a young rookie QB who can energize the team like Dart did last week against Philly

 Again, changed absolutely nothing about what I stated. That is, if you actually read what I stated.

Geno Smith took the Seahawks to the playoffs and was still under contract. The Seahawks dealt him.

Sam Darnold made the Vikings look like a Superbowl contender. The Vikings let him walk for an unproven rookie. He is currently making the Seahawks look like a contender.

Daniel Jones was a starting QB for the Giants. They dealt him to the Vikings. The Vikings had Jones on their practice squad at one point. The following year, he signs with the Colts, and they are now looking like a Superbowl contender.

 Again, going the primitive route for the 'gotcha' is not the flex you think it is.
I mean just the other day, Mahomes was released and signed to the Chiefs.
Bad example:

Exhibit A: Patrick Mahomes is a hall of famer

Exhibit B: Patrick Mahomes was a first round pick
Hooker is not even on their roster, he is on their practice squad because that is where you put starter caliber QBs :loltears:
See: Daniel Jones.

Troll? No.

This is how this works:

The Raiders are ranked 12th overall on defense.

The Raiders are ranked 28th overall on offense.

Where do the Raiders need help? Offense.

What positions do the Raiders need help at? Set at TE. Set at TE2. Set at RB. Set at QB. Need help at OL. Need help at WR.

Yes, as far as Pete Carroll and Tom Brady are concerned, the Raiders are set at QB. A drafted QB will sit next year.

Raiders are set with 3 OL. Raiders need help at guard. Raiders have a guard prodigy waiting in the wings that will most likely start next year. So, Raiders only need help at one spot on OL (center), and not only do we have his upgrade/backup already on the team, but the staff also believes our center is the next Jason Kelce. In the draft, teams don't usually spend top 10 picks on guards. Teams also don't usually spend top 10 picks on a tackle when you have one that's decent-- not great-- but decent.

Therefore, what does that leave? The WR position. Raider's receivers have trouble separating. That separation issue is causing our QB to look worse than he already is. How do you solve that? By drafting a BPA WR that has all-pro level talent, the same way you drafted Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty. In doing so the Raiders will actually look competitive next year on both sides of the ball.

 Stop calling somebody a troll because you're jealous that a conversation is happening without you.

I mean, wow, he threw out Jones. Hooker has never started a game in the NFL, got cut, picked up and thrown onto a practice squad. Jones was a high draft pick, Hooker was a very late day two pick. The amount of sheer stupidity comparing the two could fill an entire book. And even Jones is barely throwing up Carr like numbers. 250 yards per game, just over a TD per game. He is being asked not to lose. So yea, wow, great example. The Colts are a run first team and Taylor is the real reason the team is winning. 13 TDs rushing as a team, that is stout after 6 games.

Don’t forget on Hooker the lions signed a retired player to be the qb and moved hooker down. The retired qb played in the playoffs not hooker.

Ok, so I was all in in Mendoza and I'm still high on him -- but just went and watched some highlights in this Taylen Green kid from Arkansas and its like uhhhhhhh --hold the phone! He is legit! He has Randall Cunningham's arm strength with Lamar's mobility and dare I say, a dash of Brady's pocket awareness and ability to process the field.

Most definitely! Great comparisons.

He's carrying that team on his back. He will be a diamond in the rough in the draft, I'm telling you.
