Mike Tice once said while coaching for the Raiders: “If you look at the offense like a fancy car, the offensive line is the engine. Even though we might have nice spinners and nice rims and tinted windows and some neat paint job, it doesn’t mean crap without the engine. If the engine’s not working, the car might look like a pretty nice car, but it’s a piece of crap.” And he was 100% right. I wish we had him back. Changes must be made on the O-line. Charles Grant is a very athletic lineman. We should give him some reps at right tackle. Bring back Powers-Johnson as the starter at center. Parham has got to go. Maybe we should consider moving Meredith back to guard. He did so well there last year.

Lincoln Kennedy had some good points, about being more in formations with Geno under center, and the problems of running the ball out of the pistol @16.25 mark

I was starting to wonder. I sure as Hell hope this isn’t some stupid stubborn fuckin’ football egos power play bullshit. Ffs
This ^ kinda pisses me off, what happened? If we roll out the same line as last week someone has some explaining to do.
I kind of understand his answer, mainly that it could do more harm than good after investing all this time on the current iteration of the line to make a change after a few weeks. Don't get me wrong, I disagree, but I see the rationale. I don't understand watching what Alex Cappa has done not just this year but last year and thinking him playing over JPJ is a good plan at all. Pete can stand on principle all he wants but the season WILL be lost if he thinks staying the course and executing better will fix the OL.
Pete can only polish this turd for so long. If the OL doesn’t improve it’s going to tank this season before they even get to the halfway mark. I highly doubt the Raiders are going to fire Carroll even if the team only wins 5 games but there could be some pretty uncomfortable meetings between Pete, Spytek, Brady, and Davis regarding the state of the OL. Does Pete have the stones to fire his kid? The fact we are discussing this only three games into the season is not good at all especially given the poor optics of hiring his son in the first place for such an important role.

I saw "men"
After men, I saw "Zod" which is not a word but a name. As in General Zod. Now, Zod was always dressed in black and surrounded himself with formidable people who could only be defeated by people who were equal to him in might. So Zod's men were only able to lose because of the intelligence of their foes who used guile to tip the scales in their favor. And Zod was played by one of my favorite actors who also played a rancher who is killed by evil men who hated the British.
This all means we need to move the team to England so we are surrounded by Brits to protect our men of Zod.
This better not be a personal vendetta bullshit thing. We are already behind the division in talent so the best players need to be playing.

Right now it's a fan-fiction/theory, if someone cares enough go ask 'Hawk fans of the situation and see if Pete has any history of dog houses. I've never heard of one from him.
