3 interceptions in the second half of the Xmas Eve game made him the perfect patsie for McDs weakness at play calling.
All 3 INTs was to an open player though.
I said earlier in the year best thing would be to burn it down and start over. Including Carr and the coaching staff. I applaud Carr for all his good play and criticized h him for all his bad play over the years. But he always was a professional and represented the organization well off the field. Good luck to you if you decide to keep playing. And good luck to you in your retirement if you don't.
Yes, I’m going to miss Carr off the field representing the Raiders by challenging old media heads to MMA fights and feuding with teenagers on Twitter over Call of Duty :loltears:
You clearly have no reading comprehension because every time someone explains something you ignore it just like the Carr stans do

QB is the issue clearly as Carr’s play does not matchup to the salary - So that is an issue

By releasing/trading Carr the cap saved can be used to improve the roster elsewhere

Any QB coming in does not have to be an upgrade as long as other parts of the team are

Addition by Subtraction is a simple thing
Carr is one of the first to fall as copycat teams start catching on imo.

NfL teams got stupid overpaying QBs without any level of successful results. Dak, Carr, Rodgers, Wilson, Watson, Murray, Etc...

Stafford got 28, but he came onto a team who had spent 4 years stacking talent due to a rookie QB and they had significant cap savings on Donald, Kupp, and similar to offset it.

The Chiefs, Bills, and Chargers will regret their numbers too. In four years imo these kinds of Albatross contracts will never happen again. I think Herbert gets his huge extension before that is common knowledge, it is all coming together imo.

It takes a top 10 offense and defense, if it takes a 40 million dollar QB to get a barely top 10 offense, well, game over.
We have been losing with Carr man.

Not watching the choker piss away our playoff chances... again ('17, 19, '20, and '22 and he tried his best by playing terrible to end the year in '21)... is something I really look forward to.

Carr was never going into a playoff January game in KC or Buffalo without embarrassing himself and this organization.

Ever.

9 years is long enough to know that.
I'm not disagreeing with this at all, that is why I said clearly, "he played himself right out of here".

That said, celebrating this, all the losing(not just by Carr, but this whole organization) is like, I don't even know...don't have any good analogies other than to say this sucks for everyone.

One thing I do have faith in though is that finally, this organization is doing the right things to turn this thing around. I actually believe JMD is coaching well(with some lapses, but every coach has them), shows the ability to learn and get better, and the team and org is finally ending the attachment to players that don't perform. And simply, Carr has not performed, especially enough to live up to that coming contract. He needed to play lights out, as they constructed the contract to be able to dump him if he didn't and here we are. As sad as this is, I'm also happy that this team will do what it needs to do to get better. Now the question is, does Carr renegotiate and this team drafts a QB of the future to learn for a year? Could happen. But most of all I hope that they draft the guy, that's for sure! Winning and this team is what's important. Players that don't cut it, need to go!

Don't think the staff believes in Stidham.
