Keep/Dump Carr, well I'm sort of wishy-washy on that issue because i don't want to return to the misery of the 2-14 days but then again we aren't that far off from them anyway. What really worries me is that McDaniels hasn't ever shown any ability to make sound choices when it comes to the draft so I do know if he's the guy to be selecting a replacement for Carr.

The guy who runs the show on Sunday will have a lot of say but the GM calls the shots. Scouts, head of scouting, they will all have opinions but Z decides. I don't know what we got with him but he certainly cannot be any worse than Gruden was.

But Mark will surely have known about the mistakes of the past and will want to ensure they are not repeated so I can think with some assurance that Z will have the final say.

We’ve never had a person/GM other than Al say that since well……….never. I’ll take him at his word until there’s actual reason to think otherwise.

The goal isn’t to have an OK reputation. The goal is to win as many championships in as short a time as possible. Let’s focus on getting good players here organically and the “icing on the cake” high profile FAs will follow when the time is right (I.e. when we have a foundation actually worth building on)
