The next two games feel like preparing for the AFC Championship and eventual Super Bowl - we simply have to lose out or it merely delays the painful rebuild and endure another torrid campaign instead of putting the building blocks in place for a return to being relevant again.

Then it's simple.

1. Fire Pete

2. Put Deuce in charge for two weeks. He'll know what to do.

Seriously though, I think we win these last two. The Giants are equally as bad as us, while the Chiefs are scouring the league for the absolute worst person to put under center as possible. The thing about the Giants though is that if they believe in Dart, then we don't have to worry about them taking a QB in front of us.

Maybe KC's D balls the F out, gets Geno for two pick sixes, and two more interceptions deep enough in our territory to get them two field goals.

The Giants are much better than we are. They have played tough against good teams. They have a good rushing attack. They play solid D. Their special teams blow. Last week was weird for them (Dart did not throw). Kafka has a real chance to get a permanent HC job. I think they win their next 2.

If the Chiefs game costs us the number 1 pick and Mendoza turns out to be elite my hate for that organization will be indescribable.

As a Philly guy I remember the Sam Hinkie era all too well. The beauty of the NFL is that it's not a lottery like the NBA and NHL.

If they would have drafted Tatum over Fultz Hinkie would have had a statue built at sports complex.

If this happens and Petey stays and effs up the draft I will be looking for the exits. I am too old and have hung on to this team too long for this shit to continue to be a part of my (so called) life.

Cue airport jokes now.

Lol, "Raiders derangement syndrome". "This will be the thing to make me leave this fanbase". New season starts " this could be our year, love what the new coach/gm are doing". Lol.

Quite honestly Pete and Geno coming back next year, while not having the #1 pick would be the icing on the cake for me.

Disgraceful that its come to this.

Crazy that these weird scenarios seem to happen only to the Raiders like with the last hc. Im really starting to believe this team is cursed. It's like the Raiders could have the first top 6 picks in the next 5 drafts and the team would still be terrible.
