Dump Carr, sign Minshew
I like him, he would not be an upgrade but he would be cheaper. If you make this kind of move, you need a rookie to be groomed by him. Minshew has one thing going for him, though. He seems a very genuinely fun guy and that can really carry a locker room.

According to reports, it very well could be, as the Raiders could decide to bench Carr for the final two games of the season, then release him after the Super Bowl without having to pay him anymore guarantees.
The key to this move, however, would be Carr’s health. That’s because the quarterback must be healthy in order for the Raiders to be able to release him after the season without taking a financial hit.
Please explain why he's 'human garbage'?
I went to college in Chico, so I’ll give you my personal stories. He walked out on a $200 tab at The Bear. The wait staff treated him and his pals like kings for an evening and he just left without paying, no tip, nothing. A friend of mine was working the door at The Banshee when Rodgers walked up and tried to cut a huge line. When my friend told him to pound rocks he got upset and pulled the, “Don’t you know who I am!” card. Another friend of mine saw him at Bella’s and asked if she could take a picture with him. Instead of politely declining he told her she wasn’t pretty enough to take a picture with him. At least in this case he got his just deserts because her boyfriend grabbed a frisbee from the beach hut deli and walked across the street and nailed Rodgers right in the face with it. I saw Rodgers once at gold country casino. Dealers often rotate tables and there was one cute dealer that night. Every time she rotated tables Rodgers and his two friends would move with her and have the people sitting kicked off the table. Instead of enjoying the casino like a normal person he’s got to go around disrupting people’s nice time so he can creep on this woman.
Basically Rodgers is an entitled prick that treats people like crap. There is stories like this all over Chico. Almost no one I’ve talked to that has run into him has a good thing to say about the guy. Knowing what I know about him combined with his age and decline in skills, I’d rather not have him on the team.
Yeah, I was banned from that sub. One day dozens of Carr nerds descended upon me, calling me names, and so I fired back and got banned. I'd stopped participating for the most part anyway so I went out in a blaze of glory.
yeah, i don't even fire back here. some folks get off trolling or baiting online as part of a wretched real life, so thick skin is required on these anonymous internets.
I was told beating teams/players head to head don’t mean nothing.
Guess I was right…it absolutely is a factor.
