Reddit is crazy. They are blaming McDaniels for “regressing” all the progress Carr made under Gruden.
He has one more TD than he did all of last year with the same amount of picks.
He’s got the best running back and they went and got him Adams. It’s McD’s fault for scheming guys wide open all of the time
I’ll take either of Green Bay’s QBs
f[raiders_icon]ck Rodgers. Not only is he human garbage but he’s now also over the hill and costs a ton of money.

https://www.reddit.com/r/raiders/
Sorry my guy but that’s our fan base. That’s the general consensus.

I’ve seen when an entire fan base hates their QB. That isn’t the case for the Las Vegas raiders.

R/NFL is more of a general consensus take without brigading Homers, Carr is officially gone if you ask them.

My pessimistic take:
Me, I still think he is back regardless. 'One more year in the system', 'We will win more close games next year', 'Renfrow and Waller were injured' - any one of these excuses could be expanded upon to get a .500 team possibility. I don't believe McDaniels and Ziegler have the balls to risk not getting 8-9 wins next year.

Carr can get you 8-9 wins if we face 6 terrible teams and multiple injury riddled teams, and statistically all teams do every year. 'Just one and dones baby', this team is a shell of it's former culture and Carr is the new mascot for the 'commitment to .500'.

I hope I am wrong, I do not believe I am.
Those are all Stan reason, though
When a 4 win season scares the coaches and the owner, fear will make them grab onto anything.

There are absolutely excuses and poor ones and the film shows a Bortles level QB, but when 8 or 9 wins is the goal the team is built different than a team trying to build a contender.

Mark is thrilled with 8 or 9 wins is my take and all decisions on this franchise will be based on that low bar. Gruden's 'win now while rebuilding' was the poison pill and I think Mark swallowed it whole.

As much as we don't want Carr to return next year ... We need to squash the murmurings of "Brady to Vegas"!

We Don't Want Him Either!

I'm watching him in a futile Xmas day game (halftime tied at 6 with a rookie 1st start QB from Ari) ... Brady just doesn't have IT anymore.
He might make a great QB coach?
But he ain't the goat no more.

Nearing the end of the 3rd. ...
Brady is 15/25 for 112 yrds 0 TDs 2 Ints!
Ver Carr-ish ... With a qtr to go.
