The Panthers have two rushers over 100 yards. Steve Wilks got screwed with the Cardinals like no other HC.
You left out in the freezing cold in New England.
I was being sarcastic. The Pats defense is very good, but a Carr friendly was claiming they were "great."

Dexter Lawrence is stupid good. Pressure on almost every snap and leads the Giants in sacks!
I say no due to his attitude. It’s not just his play. His team hates him cause of his attitude.
Yep. Plunk always had the heart and work ethic. He was willing to do the work. And back then, no rookie QB was simply anointed like they are now. You still had to earn your sport regardless of where you were drafted.

Was raised by two blind parents so he was always one who had to look after himself. After SF and being broken up inside, he could have walked. He did not. But he was not alone back then, QBs were also football players. Now QBs are just QBs who do not have that kind of toughness to be a football player as well.

So many teams need QBs and it’s not even funny.
We aren’t in the worst shape, but we need to get our elite guy.
Many teams would trade for Carr now I believe

If not, I’m releasing him by that deadline

not that I believe what athletes say, but he said he would only play for the Raiders. I kinda believe he would refuse to waive his no trade clause. that would mean he is either back or released outright.
still at around 80% that he is back next year. Especially if the decision makers sell him on the notion that they will focus on the oline and defense so he can do what he does and get better results.
But we either need to move on from our DC or get the personnel he needs to make it work.
LOL. What have we been doing for 9 years???
failing. Z has personnel from the Gruden era, he was a shit GM who never understood how to build a defense. At least Al, for all his faults, was determined to spend on the defense and understood his defensive system. Z has his work cut out for him.
Remember, the sole player that Gruden did not turn over was Carr, he is responsible for what McD inherited.

Hopefully, none.
that is how you build a defense. You get the players to match up with the system you run. There are some universal players like Max who will work in any system but some systems rely more on safeties than LBs, others need Corners who can play on an island. Ours needs better interior line play than what Gruden built and ours needs safeties who can play far more speed than Gruden built. We McD inherited a bunch of guys who do not play our new defensive system very well. Most of that is because Gruden did not bother to get much on defense because he was a crap evaluator
