Hasn't he said in pressers that he has to go with what McDaniel's calls?

It’s December 22nd 2022 and I’m pointing out again: Carr will be the QB in 2023.
Best make peace with it; is what it is.

As long as bowl cut is here I don’t doubt it
I hope you guys will stop buying season tickets. It’s your own money and you worked hard for it, but I promise there are more deserving places to spend your hard earned cash.
At least if you must buy your tickets and go, bring a sign about Carrbage saying he needs to be replaced.

October 30th 2022. At the New Orleans Saints...
Carr 15/21 101 yards passing 0TD's 1INT 50.3 rate and never got us past the 50 yard line. Pretty sure JaMarcus Russell and/or Ryan Leaf could have at least done that.
Jarrett Stidham 8/13 72 yards passing 0TD's OINT 76.4 rate and took us right past the 50 yard line. Same game, same team apples for apples.
I don't believe for a second and have been saying it for a long time now that he has the backing of the locker room. He doesn't have the backing of the locker room.
He also signed a contract that has an out clause. If you are a GM/HC that believes in him you don't draw a contract like that up at the beginning of the season. They KNEW he wasn't their guy, predicted he would fail and had him sign a contract they could get out from underneath after he did so.

I’ll also will believe it when I see it.

The thing that could save Derek is that his teammates love the guy. I could see, obviously, Adams, but also Jacobs and Crosby and others wanting Carr back if asked for imput.
Hopefully, Mark doesn’t meddle.

Mark loves Carr also. He will be back next season and Josh will not push back on this. We will be tanking by mid November.

Your career can be short in this game and great players like the 3 named above surely don't want to be stuck in NFL purgatory for the remainder of their careers with the Raiders imo.
