If no one is hired this week I would absolutely be certain that it’s a coach in one the playoff teams they’re gunning for. Question is which one. The results really didn’t go our way coach hiring wise.

Seattle-Kubiak
Rams- Shula, Scheelhaase and LaFleur.
Broncos- Davis Webb (I don’t think thy want Joseph).

Arizona Cardinals
Baltimore Ravens
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns
Las Vegas Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers

6 openings left. Interesting (or maybe not) that the more experienced guys seem to be going first. It seems/feels like the Steelers, Bills, Ravens, and Cardinals are all leaning towards more established coaches as well. Jim Schwartz with the inside track in Cleveland?

Mike McCarthy and Brian Flores are still floating out there as well.

Nagy and Vance might be the two I'm least interested in, with Klint Kubiak, Minter, McDaniel, and Mike LaFleur being most interesting. Just give me something more progressive and creative. Webb really wouldn't upset me either.

Neither do I. I was hoping the Titans would hire him to take him off the list. But we had an early interview with him and haven't scheduled a 2nd so maybe they aren't interested either. I really want him to return to the Chiefs, because their offense dropped off as soon as he replaced Bienemy.

Oh, I didn't see that - f[raiders_icon]ck. I don't regard Bienemy as some genius, but he just might be the right guy for Mahomes.

We won’t hire anybody until after the SB I would guess. They’ll want to interview Webb Broncos, at least one of the trio of the Rams and Kubiak Seattle.

With Ravens, Steelers and now Bills all looking for a HC. I imagine even if we tried to hire Minter for at his interview he’ll probably turn it down and see what happens elsewhere first.

6 openings and 5 coaches I’d be happy with, so I’m still happy with our chances.

Webb
Kubiak
Shula
Minter
McDaniel

And then the two other Rams players who I could get behind if Brady and Spytek believe in them

Gut feeling but I’ll be surprised if Kubiak wants the job.

I won't be surprised if he gets the job, I just think there will be an offer for his services that he takes outside the Raiders job. I am irrationally still convinced Webb gets the job....and yes, that is the fan in me.

I can see Webb going Ravens or more likely Bills and being the next McVay

I can somehow totally see McDermott going to the Steelers. I think Bills go offense. Ravens I have no clue

Interested if we add another coach not in playoffs to our second round so we aren't just sitting around doing nothing waiting. We have two interviews scheduled today and I think after that we just need to wait out these games this Sunday.

Rams coaches or Kubiak will be free and Webb likely too.

Luckily, after the championship game, we can completely finish our interview interviewing.

3 best scenarios for Webb (needs more experience) and the Raiders (need offensive head coach for Mendoza development)
1. Kubiak HC & Webb OC
2. Lafleur HC & Webb OC
3. McDaniel HC &Webb OC.

If we hired a head coach that wants Webb as OC Can the Broncos block Webb from going to Raiders as an OC even though OC is above his current position with the broncos
