Of course I can tell you what you said, or in this case did not say, because YOU never said it.mranquales wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 5:24 amYou don't tell me what I stated. I already told you what happened, and yes I was right.
and if it were an opinion as you claim, then you are even more off base, because there is no such thing as a "wrong" opinion unless the subject matter is absolutely objective.
But let's revisit your latest claim of being right. You stated Bowers and Jeanty's injuries happened at practice and that is the result of coaching. And when you got called on it you stated you are right. You also said Jacobs was not a great running back. And when you were pressed on it, you repeatedly doubled down on it stating you are right. Same with Lynch. Frankly, you are wrong on all of those statements. The amount of times you have made statements and then insisted you are right is staggering, because almost all of those times, you were wrong. Period.

It was Seattle's defense that came through. That will help whatever QB we have under center.Viper wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 3:49 am For sure, I’m just not convinced our best Qb is starting and whereas they have 2 seasoned guys in their prime in that room, we have an aging one starting whose arm is suspect and a young man behind him that I believe gives us a better chance at winning. Establishing a better than average running game successfully will go a long ways in getting our less than stellar receivers open.
If our line can give us some running lanes, we have the talent at running back to take the heat off whoever we have at Qb.
The Raiders defense looks suspect and our D coordinator hasn't really proven anything. He's been around a bunch of losing lately.

Exactly. Nice post.STHfrontrow wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 7:15 pm Seattle lost their QB last night in the 1st few min and rallied to win. The system is stout and that is what we need here.
I remember when Brady went down in 2008. Matt Cassell stepped up and had a career year and led the Patriots to 11 wins. New England lost their best player but were good enough to field a marginal QB and press on. They were also strong enough organizationally to "showcase" Cassell and flip him for draft picks the following year to Kansas City.
Next man up.
And f[raiders_icon]ck the Patriots BTW.

In last night’s game, the 49ers defense was what turned the tide. Key stop at the goal line and forced fumble.STHfrontrow wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 7:01 am It was Seattle's defense that came through. That will help whatever QB we have under center.

Bowers injury blows. We are going to miss our best offensive player and it could negatively impact the coronation of St. Fernando. Hopefully its nothing long term (remains to be seen). If we are playing like dog shit, I would not rush this kid back (he is our future).

The FO was really irresponsible for completely ignoring the WR position. There’s not a single difference maker in that room and it’s the main reason this is the least excited I’ve been about football season in a long long time.

Washington fell because of 11 fumbles in college. Gotta correct that yesterday.mstrbass2000 wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 10:53 am we drafted washington after taking jeanty high in the draft (back to back yrs) for the most part washington fell 2 rds past his talent level and you can see that on the field, seattle took kenneth walker high in the 2nd rd and then drafted charbs in teh 2nd rd the following yr a true 1a-1b on talent both with defined roles too...how this shakes out is still to be determined (ken walker role vs charbs role) our oline is upgraded and should be able to open up running lanes for both
i can see the exact same path with washington getting 30 pct this yr and 45% the yr after ...charbs was actually teh 1a to walkers 1 b last yr until the injury

Exactly, while I have hope for Washington, his talent level was a third or fourth rounder. He is not very agile and he is really not that great a blocker. He lost a lot of fumbles in college and that is a problem. Because of his frame, while fast once he gets going, his first steps are a bit slow. And yea, tall running backs tend to run upright too much. He gets clobbered high sometimes and those hits can be brutal. I watched his film after he was drafted and I could see someone having taken a shot at him high in the third so in that realm, we got a bit of a steal on him but he was never a first round talent.Oaktown Superman wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 8:57 am Washington fell because of 11 fumbles in college. He has got to work on his blocking though and he has got to keep the handle on the ball. Our suspect defense cannot have a bunch of short fields to defend.

Didn’t we sign a pretty good free agent WR and draft one with potential? Too bad you can’t join the crowd and have hope for this team for the first time in a long while. It could be a long long season for you.NoClapsPlease wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 8:43 am The FO was really irresponsible for completely ignoring the WR position. I think it’s going to be a long season for all of us the minute a cousins pass deflects off our receivers hands and into the bread basket of a safety.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 10:27 am Didn’t we sign a pretty good free agent WR and draft one with potential?
