Our Defense
If we're really gonna run a 3-4 then these depth charts should show it. Our line should consist of Hemingway, Laula, and Fatukasi with Crosby and Paye as our OLBs. Crosby played linebacker in high school. The position is not entirely strange to him.

Eichenberg actually got 60% of the snaps in the game against the Rams. He had 6 tackles.pfish57 wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 4:20 pm Eichenberg sucks...he has 3 solo tackles for the year & zero coverage skills!!

Our dline is a bigger issue. Zero pass rush the last few games and the secondary will get torchederickench wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 10:14 am I think it's time to bench Leonard! Not Cousins! We drafted 4 DBs this year. We should be seeing a lot better results from our defensive secondary.

The tape is out. When we were good, we were doing phony pre-snap blitz disguises but running a very vanilla coverage behind it. Teams now understand our blitzes suck, and our DL is not good enough to generate a pass rush with just 4 guys. Part of this is on Leonard but part of this is on the DL talent being trash. Kwity Overpaye and Malcolm Koonce are rotational guys but not starters. Maxx has always been a #2. We lack a true pass rusher.
