Clearly you didn’t see the offensive linemen get pushed into him. That’s why he threw that floating duck to the DB. Had the shitty Oline done their job right Carr would have sent it to the DB in a tight spiral.
I blame the silver numbers for his game all night. 17 in silver just does not stand out against the white
https://twitter.com/ezlazar/status/1601 ... ceb6c89b6c
5 out in routes, lot of misdirection on the play, looks like it was the first read to Hollins with Jacobs clearing out so the safety was 1 on 1 with Hollins who has about 8 yards separation right around first down territory. Carr looks at him but it appears he feels the pocket collapsing which is not accurate as the stunt guy gets picked up. Everyone pretty much one on one. Then for some reason, Carr breaks right but by then the two on the right are either running to the sideline or covered on the fly route.

Just a lot going on but Carr going to the sideline was probably the wrong move there.

:paperbag:
In this situation, if Carr had any kind of a pocket presence and clue he slides to his right to try and escape the pocket and if gets dragged down trying it then so be it. Take the 3 and go into the half.

You don't allow yourself to make that throw with pocket collapsing on you like that, it was obvious he had to move off his spot to get a throw off or just go down.

Even if he had a clean pocket, why in the hell would you try to thread the needle into an area with 4 rams defenders, it was a moronic decision to go there regardless.

The only reason he let that ball go was because he was trying to avoid getting hit, period

As you mentioned the pocket was not collapsing at all.

Dude’s mechanics are GONE. Punts or Gopher Balls. Internal clock running 5 times faster than reality. “Fiight or flight” switch permanently stuck on “flight”. Inability to take responsibility. Bad. Bad. Bad.

The Raiders are cursed. It wears #4.
Pretty close, pretty close. Eh...
it looks more like a baskeball shot than a pass....feet together, one hand extended up and out.

may not be his finest moment, but the defender made a helluva adjustment on the shot, er pass.

If he were on some other team we would be laughing our asses off at him but unfortunately he's on ours! That pick in the endzone was football comedy gold! :loltears:

The guy's a bum.

You don't sign 32 year old bums to multi million dollar contracts!
