I got the best advice ever from my step dad when I was 16. He said there will come a day when you have to get a prostrate exam. So in the meantime, find a doctor who is a petite woman with very small hands, preferably Asian (his implication is Asian chicks have very delicate hands.) At the time, I thought it was an odd and random thing to tell a 16 year old.

I took that to heart and my last two doctors have been very petite women, not Asian, but you can't have everything. Now I understand all too well the wisdom of my step dad
