The height is certainly a preferential factor in evaluating drafting Mendoza over other potential QB's but more than anything else it's the kids attitude that sets him apart and that's for me what makes him #1 worthy.

Above all, he seems extremely dedicated.
A guy who won't quit on the team under any circumstances, exactly what a franchise like ours needs at the moment.

 Glad someone else sees it.
He's 1 person out of about 200, that makes him an outlier so his opinion doesn't count

He also seems to have the it factor. Even in games where he isn’t have the greatest game when they need him to make a drive happen it happens.

So f[raiders_icon]ck one of the very best to ever play the game

So good news everyone, I am fluent in bullshit. Here is the translation:

"Damn, I got nothing, got called out and am cornered so I dismiss everything that calls out my bullshit"

There may be a bit of nuance that I missed but that is the literal translation.

Literally the only caveat would be us not having control of the pick (being 2nd or below) or the Jets trading the farm and then some!

If we have the 1st pick and not select Mendoza then i'll be found in hibernation until the 2027 Draft because guaranteed it'll be another awful campaign in store.
Not if Moore grades out better. Personally I’d be ok with trading down. Next year should be a monster & if we can get 5 1st rounders from the Jets, you have to consider building the team & drafting that QB next year

I am just hoping we have luck on our side for a change. I do not see a huge difference in the top QB's so lets just hope we get the right one.

If next year is going to be so much better why are the jets offering 5 1st round picks…. No organisation will be offering 5 first round picks btw. They wouldn’t do that for Andrew Luck let alone Mendoza

So a team seemingly in perfect position to draft a qb in next years monster class is going to give up their assets to draft a lesser talent this year? Makes sense

Where they did residency is much more important than where they went to med school.

When I am having spinal fusion surgery, my go to question is what is your 40 time in pads.
