I give credit when credit is due. Carr did not lose the game.
True enough. He managed to not throw his third interception of the game in OT and lose it. So yes, credit where credit is due.
Yes, he did a good job of handing the ball off to Jacobs in overtime. Not sure too many QBs could have done that.
I didn't see the game, so I have absolutely no insight into Carr's performance today. That said, this is without question the least relevant of Carr's OT wins. Not knocking him, whatsoever, but Jacobs gets the credit for OT. Probably also the OL for springing him, and the D for getting the stop when a FG could have won the game.
This is why I hate Dubow - all these random, out of context stats to try to make Carr look good. I'm happy he blocked me.

I'm fine with QB W/L, even overtime wins. The problem is when we lose its "the team lost, not the QB."
So which is it, because it can't be both.
Carr might have audibled into that play, if he did good shit but we might never know....
But we do know. Wins mean Derek played well, losses means Derek played well. The only thing a win or a loss tells us is what the 52 other players, the coaches, the refs, and the fans did to screw everything up for him.

After a shaky start, Carr played well. He did everything asked of him and then some.
It was the third time this season he's done that. And therein lies the lack of faith in the guy. You won't see him play well week in and week out, game after game. He's right on track to have his 4-5 very good games per season. Nearly every good game is followed by several WTF games.

Not really worth arguing that point anymore after 9.5 years!! JJ & the D won that game!!

The Raiders are officially not tanking the team plays good enough not to get a top 10 pick.

What he did prior to OT is/was entirely irrelevant to that discussion.
