Carr is now 8-2 in his career in overtime games — the best winning percentage (.800) by a quarterback with 10-plus overtime games in their career,
You mean the team is 8-2, not Carr
No. He means Carr.
it is really ironic when he slips up and makes a claim that revolves around wins and losses....but wins and losses are a team thing the rest of the time.
Why so many opportunities?
But I’m glad you recognize QB win/loss records now.
60-77 ring a bell?
Nah, just one light tap with that record.
I think our playcalling in the redzone is a major problem. We are so predictable. Not saying that Carr is a great qb.....but damn.....it is the same shit every week. Nobody is open....and we need TE to block people out for an easy gain. Never happens...it is all finesse plays that never work.
It has been the same through several playcallers.
The amnesia just keeps kicking in as to pretend otherwise.
Totally agree. I was actually pretty confused when he was crying to the media after the Colts. Like who exactly was he calling out? He is the leader of the locker room, 9th year vet playing the game’s most important position. Here more than twice as long as any coach tenured in his era, especially McD who has only been here 10 games. This is your locker room, Derek, and your culture. If other players aren’t putting in the work that reflects poorly on you much more so than the coaches or other players.
Keep it in house and tell them what’s what as the leader of the team. Crying to the clickbait hounds is some Fredo shit — I know Colts week is over and we’re now mostly talking Broncos win, but I just saw this post this morning and it rung true to me. Who are you blaming Derek? Sometimes when everything else is the problem, you are the problem…
Never seen anything like it before.
Him leaving it up to the fans and media wondering who he's talking about is the absolute wrong thing to do and unfair to the rest of the team.
You have a problem with someone's effort level you address it to them man to man and leave it at that. Nobody outside the lockeroom needs to know that.

Well of course they are...until they aren't dontcha know!
Zach Wilson has a winning record as a QB this year. It’s weird how his coach won’t commit to him though.
Good thing the Niners traded all that capital for Lance. I like Jimmy G but believe Carr to be better than him, then again Jimmy G never lost to Aaron Rodgers so he’s probably the best QB in the league…where was franchise QB Wilson drafted again?

The question still remains what does that gain us at the end of the day? Participation Trophy perhaps?

Wilson is stuggling and looks headed to bust status. But he's $6.5 million vs the cap compared to Carr's $19 mill, then $35 and $42 million.
If the Jets had hit on Wilson they would be in really good shape.

Career

2022 record... 5-2.
2021 record... 3-10
Career recored 8-12
Yeah. So weird why they won't commit to him.

We would have been a lot better off...if we had jettisoned Carr's ass last year when we could have gotten something in return, and kept Mariota who has a nut-sack at least! Hell he has a less talented team with a new HC at 5-6!

Only Archie Manning and Dan Pastorini have started the first 9 years of their career with the same team and had a worser winning % than Derek Carr.
So it has happened twice in NFL history, only problem is neither Archie or Pastorini did anything after leaving the saints and oilers.
So Carr would have to be the only QB in NFL history to accomplish the feat of winning a Superbowl, while being a career loser as a starting QB.
Since Stafford had 60 wins as a starting QB in his 1st 9 seasons but did it in 125 games, while it took Carr 137 games to win 60 games as a starting QB.
Can Carr win a Superbowl with another team? I highly doubt it, but I would love the Raiders to cut bait and let Carr prove he can do it since the Raiders are holding him back according to his die-hard supporters.

Hi everyone, let me introduce myself, I was a longtime raider fan but they cut my favorite player, Derek Carr, so now I’m here. I will make any discussion surrounding Carr difficult because I will refuse to acknowledge basic facts about flaws in his game, and I will blindly dismiss valid criticism with non sequiturs and excuses.
I can’t wait for Carr to win the Super Bowl here so I can go back to raiderforums.com and make one last post abouf how right I was all along. And if he doesn’t win the SB, it will be the fault of the dysfunctional organization you guys have been rooting for your whole lives. Can’t wait to talk about football with fans of my new favorite team, the [Carr’s next team]
