Watching Carr play QB for the Raiders is like watching a #2 pencil being shoved into my eyeball in slow motion. I can barely allow myself to tune in anymore. I'm tired of seeing him in silver and black.
I told you it would only hurt for a while

now stop whining

I wouldn't bet my house on it but I do feel Carr returns. I feel Mark will push to take the best defensive player available in the 1st round and quite frankly I can't disagree with that. It's time to build a great defense as I'm so tired of seeing the same crap defense year after year.

He may be back, but we will have a high draft pick rookie waiting to play. I personally think he is gone and a guy like Stidem plays the first couple weeks until Levis (or who ever) is ready. If Carr is back he will ne a lame duck. I think the coaches are well aware of his coaches pet routine

I never bet on anything, but if I did?

I’d put every cent I have on him being back. Why? Two words: Mark Davis.

Davis is so enamored with Carr that there is no way he can contemplate parting from him,

Carr isn’t going anywhere boys, better make peace with it.

If Derek Carr is trotted out once again in 2023, it is confirmation that he is indeed a special pet of Mark Davis. If he isn't, it shows Mark is still an idiot, but perhaps teachable.

If that wuss (part wimp and part pussy) is trotted out again in 2023, I'm out. Done 9 years. Ain't gonna do 10.

The holdover players from Gruden were acquired to run a team which scores between 17 and 24 points and just barely has a winning record.

You can't take those players

destroy the defense

and win many games.

As I have said, before every game Carr asks the Defensive Coordinator "How many points are you giving up today?"

And his answer is always "MY defense can give up more points than you can score. Don't expect any help from the defense."

The end.

If Carr returns next season nothing changes for me. He sucked the life out of my soul a couple years ago so I am pretty emotionless during games now.

If Carr is back next year I'm out. No team has ever gone this long with such an average quarterback.

Maybe I missed something in the OP— but where are actual legitimate oddsmakers saying he’s likely to be back?
