Love these guys, lots of reading enjoyment in the comment sections.
Is there any YT channels that are NOT down on their knees at the altar of Carr? Mitchell, RC, Somoan, Wifi etc... all of these just want Santa to bring kneepads for their stockings on Christmas morning, but it would be nice to see an opposing view on YT from someone
Nothing stopping both of ye.
Raider Ben has been around a minute and wants a QB change. So does The Silver and Black Way.
Another Derek fan, not a Raider fan
58-74
I wouldn't keep him around to teach NO rookie if that is the road we head down.
Please lord say it's not true
A doozie indeed.
I think the Carrdashian cult will be studied by future Raider historians.
Like you said, he doesnt deserve the undying love and loyalty he gets from some Raider fans .
I use to think it was solely the Fresno and Central Valley connection but I also think it’s his “Christian faith”. I quote because it doesnt seem genuine either. I am a Christian and Carr doesnt emulate the selfless individual that is preached. He never takes blame and throws people under the buss. He loves being the “leader” and most important person in the room. He is more of a cultural Christian like many in america.
Tebow had a similar Christian following but Tebow was a boss. He gave 100% and gave leader vibes not by wearing the patch but by example. Tebow earned respect. He was not a good thrower but he was a good football player.
Anyway I wish him the best but dont want Carrr near our team. He and the Carrdashians can follow him to another team.

Calling this one out.
“ I’ll die on the shield for Derek Carr he’s the best leader we’ve had this century and it’s not even close”
I get the qualifier of “this century” but he’s not in the same league as Gannon as a leader, not even close. WTF are these guys smoking?

Contact Riff MajesticDefense sucks, as usual. McD is an awful HC, no surprise. Carr is still mediocre, not good enough. What is it now...30 games without a 3 TD pass performance. Pocket awareness continues to suck most of the time, panics and gives up when pressured. Never really a threat to use his legs, 140 rushing yards in a season is his personal best. I'm not even saying I want a running QB but someone that can use his legs like Rodgers, Mahomes, and numerous other QB's would be nice. It's just time to move on.
Somehow he just doesn't understand what he needs to practice in order to improve. If he's working as hard as he says he is, then he's not doing the correct work for the improvements he needs.
Also, it's not up to him to judge his teammates on hard they practice. He needs to trust that each teammate knows what they need to practice and that may, or may not, look "equal" to his work. Every player is different. If he's judging (and not trusting) the practice/conditioning habits of his teammates then they may, or may not, see him as their leader.
He may work hard in practice but imo on the field in games he is the last guy that should be saying anything as he isn't doing all he can to win...Said it 100 times,he likes to win but doesn't hate to lose enough to put himself in harms way to make a play...Guy plays like a puss and is a fraud, one major reason I say he isn't a leader.Fk Carr!
I don't think any amount of practice will improve Carr's real issue, which I think is a fear of getting hit/hurt and the panic that ensues. It's not an irrational fear, it's just one that doesn't work well for an NFL QB. Practice won't cure it, just like practice won't eliminate a fear of heights. He is who he is IMO.

Spot on. That fear started when he was kid watching David get sacked a million times. Not only did he see it on TV, he saw the bruises and the results of the beating up close. He wants no part of being tackled.
I haven't posted in a while but these posts are what I've believed about Carr for years. Seems to me people talk about symptoms but not the underlying problem.
I'm sure to little Derrick his #1 draft pick brother looked like some stud jock when he was drafted, and later he looked like a shell of himself after taking a beating.
It's easy imagining Derrick watching the games with mom and dad, and hearing dad say get rid of the ball or mom saying he's gonna get killed. I'm sure there were plenty of times where the whole family was concerned for David's well being after a big hit. I think learning lessons that way is not only natural as Derrick probably had great empathy for his brother, but were learned through the mind of a child and not properly developed.
The most vocal people don't see him as a problem. Those are Carr fans, not Raider fans. This sentiment of "If Carr leaves, then I'm leaving" don't come from Raider fans. Those people are a pox on the fanbase.
I can't speak for others, but this has been my problem when it comes to being on this site. I don't hate Carr. I don't know him and have never met him. If I spent enough time with him I could probably come to some conclusion that he's a good or bad person, but I don't need to define him or any other stranger that's in the entertainment industry. It's not like I'm going to get the whole story as an outsider to his life nor do I want to.
I do hate all the lies that are spouted to support him. 9 years of lying bullshit to prop up the weak-willed wonder. Strawman arguments, calling balls that hit fingertips on outstretched arms balls that hit hands, blaming receivers for passes defensed, shooting the messenger, muddying the waters, the bullshit never stops.
What's so odd to me is that there's nothing wrong with being a Carr fan first and a Raider fan second or only a Carr fan. Who am I to tell anyone who or what they should be a fan of. But constantly throwing away their integrity because they need someone to buy into their idiocy of idolatry is f[raiders_icon]cking weird.

Am I the only one who thinks Derek Carr has the yips?
He's always had poor pocket presence and other issues but I truly believe he has been seeing ghosts for a long time. Worse than when he came out of Fresno. I don't think he can overcome it. Sometimes he looks okay but many throws are so bizarre and off target it reminds of a second basemen who cannot throw the ball to first base. His numbers over the past 18 games are not good. The fact the Raiders snuck into the playoffs last year diverted attention from many Raiders fans that he finished the year poorly.

Do you think Carr was talking about Waller when he started crying?

Crying and throwing coaches and teammates under the bus. What a pathetic loser. Let's not credit him and say it's his love or passion for the team and game. He's just a f[raiders_icon]cking loser. Good riddance and just retire.
