Ah, I see. Looked at your bio. So what makes a Mexican hate on a Cuban?

I disagree with your observations, but you're not the only one:

I personally think he is going to be a very good QB, as do the majority of pundits. That said, if we don't put a good OL in front of him and give him some more weapons, he's going to look like AOC for us.

Yes you made mistakes. You took 2 games out of a guy's career and concluded he is a bust. In those two games he lit it up. I have no f[raiders_icon]ck what you were watching but all I can conclude is wherever the f[raiders_icon]ck you are from drugs are freely distributed to the population and required to take

I'm not hating Mendoza, i just think he will not be good. I think it's a terrific game manager Buy i think he will not be effective because of this ara strenght

I have no problem with someone's grade on the guy who has actually watched more than 2 games has on the guy. But to call the guy a bust after saying he literally has only watched 2 games. And 2 lights out games? f[raiders_icon]ck that noise

Dude, you've been around since 2015 and nobody had ever heard of you but you decide to show up and drop the hammer on the QB that is the obvious choice and by his play is making you look absolutely foolish.

You can't be a fan of this team.

Mendo might bust but if he does it won’t be due to lack of drive, effort or intelligence and I can live With that.

How Scouts View Him:
A smart, experienced college QB. Accurate and poised. Moderately athletic with functional arm strength. Someone who would benefit from the right system to maximize his potential in the NFL.

Strengths:
Football IQ / processing. Accuracy in the short and intermediate game. Pocket awareness. Leadership and competitiveness. Ability to extend plays with average mobility. Experience in a modern spread and balanced offense. Praised for preparation, poise under pressure, and doing the little things right.

Weaknesses:
Arm strength is functional but not elite. Deep-ball consistency may need refinement. Not an elite athlete or extreme physical upside. Development needed to read NFL defenses at full speed.

Draft Projection:
Mid-to-late rounds, potentially a developmental starter in a system-friendly team. Could compete for starting opportunities with proper coaching and refinement.

Care to hazard a guess?

Reads like Brady, making for a lot of similarities

I’m watching the patriots and chargers and I see two QBs who have terrific arms and athleticism.

I don’t think Mendoza is a slam dunk, but of course being a raider fan, I hope it works out.

QB Joey Harrington

(6-4 1/8, 220, 4.87) Oregon

Positives: Good size. Tall. Sees well. Supersmart. Team leader. Is poised. Really cut down on his mistakes in 2001 and learned to better control his emotions. Does an excellent job of managing the team and running the offense the way he is coached to do it. Was much more consistent in ’01 and avoided the horrible games he had earlier in his career (Oregon State 2000), in which he let things snowball on him. Very clutch and has a great ability for bringing his team back at the end of games. Led at least 10 fourth-quarter comebacks and has the best won-lost record of any Oregon quarterback in history. Won 25 of the last 28 games he started. Sets up quickly and reads coverages well. Has quick feet and senses the rush well. Is tough to sack. Has good, but not great, arm strength. Has stretches when he throws with pinpoint accuracy and really nice touch. Was much more mechanically sound and poised in 2001, and that really helped him with his accuracy.

Negatives: Does not have a great arm. Must have his feet set and use a full delivery to get the ball downfield with accuracy and velocity. Still can be erratic and streaky with his accuracy. Is not that mobile or much of a threat to run for big yardage. May have looked better than he really is because he is in such a good offensive system.

Summary: Great intangibles and a super kid, but he does not have David Carr’s arm strength and is not John Elway, but he could be slightly more gifted than Tom Brady and will be a first-round pick.
