Mariota and the Falcons are 6-3. They're the 6th highest scoring team in the league. It's Mariota's first year in that system.

Really impressive for the resources spent there which was essentially nothing.

Ok so you still haven’t said you watched a Steelers game. You based your opinions on that of others, and you’re trying to insult me by lumping me in with other members you don’t agree with. All because I commented that our OLINE is shit and once again you use the opinion of others to prove they are average. Carr sucks, the OLINE sucks, and the Defense sucks, I don’t need to do a google search to confirm what I see.

As someone that’s generally been “pro Carr”…. He’s cooked.
As inconsistent as he’s been throughout his career… always felt like you were in decent shape with the ball in his hands at the end of a one score game. This year - it feels hopeless being in that spot and it’s why we’ve got 2 wins. Even his accuracy has seemingly fallen off a cliff and it’s not one or two throws a game…. It seems like it’s every other throw.
At least for me, my final judgement of Carr is he’s great at quarterbacking a mediocre team… but sucks at quarterbacking a good one. In his 9 years there’s been 2 seasons where the expectations have been high (going into the season): the 2 seasons following playoff births; 2017 and 2022. Coincidentally the 2 seasons Carr has looked flat out bad.
In a lot of ways this feels like déjà vu of 2017. I generally try not to get into sports psychology but it seems like expectations kind of kill the guy.
