Whoever was responsible for not addressing Oline or Secondary with anything better than a couple project 3rds, Cappa, Chinn, and Stokes is the one to blame. Do we know who that was?

My $$$ is on Carroll........Look at how they have handled the O-line with the players we have....And how many ex seahawks are here now??? Add in Graham being forced to run Carrolls scheme to me seems obvious who is calling the shots...LayneStaley wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 4:57 pm Whoever was responsible for not addressing Oline or Secondary with anything better than a couple project 3rds, Cappa, Chinn, and Stokes is the one to blame. I am in favor of keeping Spytek and letting him learn and improve. I also don't want to lt him off the hook for being a part of these decisions but I do think Pete had final say. I imagine it was a demand of him taking the job in the first place

Look @ Seattle now that he’s gone…Pete will be gone. Vinny started ripping him today & since Vinny is one of Mark’s shills that’s an indication that you’re in trouble plus Vinny didn’t criticize Spytek. That’s should tell you everything

The ultimate Raider thing to happen would be Bill coming here. His GF could sit next to Mark during home games.

He needs to step down after the season.
Make Patrick graham HC. Let him run his own defense, not this antiquated cover 3 bullshit
Then go get a creative OC.
Draft a QB. Fix this oline
Then ill slightly feel better about this team

Patrick graham doesnt like to be on the field, he likes to be up in the box. That wouldnt be good for a head coach. It shows they are 1 dimensional.NoClapsPlease wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 7:20 pm He needs to step down after the season.

f[raiders_icon]ck that ! I see nothing that shows PG is qualified to be a head coach. And he's been running his defense for the last few years and it was nothing special.NoClapsPlease wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 7:20 pm He needs to step down after the season.

I found your perfect candidate ;)GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 12:25 am Exactly where I’m at. Keep Spytek. Let him GM. And for God’s sake, no more old retread Head Coaches. Carroll’s insistence on keeping his no-talent sons on the sideline is a final straw for me. Chip? Chip just don’t have it. We’d have as hard a time stuffing the roster to prop him up as we did Carr.
I had written before there’s a Head Coach avenue that the NFL hasn’t “spammed” yet, but it’s slowly getting there. Just like when the trend du jour was raiding Sean McVay’s cupboards.
Head Coaches in the NFL that have spent at least a season as strictly TE coaches in the NFL or College…
John Harbaugh BAL
Ben Johnson CHI
Kevin Stefanski CLE
Brian Schottenheimer DAL
Dan Campbell DET
Sean McVay LAR
Btw, Andy Reid spent 4 years as TE Coach and Assistant Offensive Line Coach with the Packers.
Interesting to note, Dan Campbell not only helped Ben Johnson, a former TE Coach, find his way to being Head Coach, but his offensive coaching positions are littered with guys who were TE coaches.
Guys who were former TE Coaches I’d grab some interviews with…
Tommy Rees, Browns. Promoted from TE Coach to OC this year by Kevin Stefanski, Head Coach and former TE Coach.
Nick Caley, Texans. Promoted to OC from TE Coach this year. Coached TEs for 7 years for the Patriots and Rams.
Nate Byham (dark horse candidate), Stanford. Promoted to OC this year, but is also the TE Coach. Was an NFL TE in the NFL for 4 years.
A shame Doofus would never get enough synapses to spark beneath that ridiculous bowl cut to come up with this train of thought himself. Holy Hell that man needs to fcking go.

Dude is a troll. Don't pay him any mind. Imagine how clueless and out of touch you have to be to suggest Graham as HC.rcraider wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 9:56 pm fck that ! Can anyone say Pete at 73 has the team playing harder and fundamentally better than AP? I don’t see it. Defensively it’s a wash but offensively they were marginally better under AP even without a big name running back or QB. Special teams were much better last season. AP’s main issue was game strategy and management but he had the players playing hard. This team under Pete looks no better despite supposedly upgrading at QB and RB while running back the same team.DanKD wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 8:42 pm We suck right now but its not within reality to argue that AP is a better coach than Pete Carroll, even at 73.

Absolutely agree on Carroll. AND: Graham being forced to run Grampa's old scheme just reinforces that judgement.Rainman56 wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 5:02 pm My $$$ is on Carroll........Look at how they have handled the O-line with the players we have....And how many ex seahawks are here now??? Graham has ran Cover 3 before in New York. He is not being forced to run anything. If he was, I dont think he'd be here. Carroll may be contributing to the scheme but its still Graham's defense. And let's face it, they both stink.raider_kin wrote: Wed Nov 19, 2025 7:50 am Absolutely agree on Carroll. AND: Graham being forced to run Grampa's old scheme just reinforces that judgement.
