May 18, 20-21, 26, and 28-29, followed by a final session on June 1-4.

These workouts are held at the Intermountain Health Performance Center in Henderson, Nevada.

They serve as the voluntary Phase 3 of the team's offseason program, where 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted without live contact.

Following OTAs, the Raiders are scheduled to hold their mandatory minicamp from June 6-11.

We want to talk about wasted picks? This dude was an absolute garbage pick.

He's still young (23) and raw but he just doesn't seem very good at football. That could change but not real soon if ever.
Due to his size and speed he should get more leeway but hopefully these coaches can figure out whether he's worth being patient with or not before final roster cuts.

Not saying he will end up a nobody, but the system Tennessee uses doesn’t allow for much route tree and the majority of their stud receivers don’t pan out..

I would settle for a guy who can run the occasional go if nothing else from him

The guy had ZERO college production. Those guys usually fail in the NFL.

Listen I would see how/if they guys can develop and to what level before I brought in a higher priced free agent only to remove the high fruit these young men are climbing for.
Center? Sure. A draft pick on tbeir ass? Absolutely. Drive thier ass'.
Same can be said at WR.

Next year though, all bets are off.

He's basically DHB but at least we didn't waste a 1st rounder on him

Pretty much my thinking too
I see him sticking around this year. Dude was a project to begin with. In no way shape or form should he have been starting last year but at any rate, you Gotta see if some of these guys have anything. What's the point of drafting anyone if you're only going to give them a year to show anything?

What is more likely?
The Raiders' 2025 abysmal season was due directly to Dont'e Thornton's 2025 performance ?
...OR
Dont'e Thornton's 2025 performance was due directly to the Raiders' 2025 abysmal season?

Poor coaching and a poor offensive line and poor QBing and poor play calling had a hand in all of this.

I personally don't think he's very good but I agree that last year didn't do him any favors

Usually but has he had a chance yet with the Raiders? You might be a bit quick to judge. His college stats were a lot better than the greatest long ball threat the Raiders ever had -- Cliff Branch. Cliff's:
Year One: 23 receptions 335 yards
Year Two: 13 receptions 330 yards.

Speed - 40 time: Branch: Not measured but supposedly about 4.2 Thornton: 4.3
Thornton is a much bigger target than Branch was. Not saying Thornton will be an All-Pro, but, give it a chance to see if he is any good. To call him "trash" is kind of over-the-top -- maybe.
