Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

My first mock draft of the year.
All the linemen I wanted in the second were gone so I went with the best lineman available on the board.

D'angelo Ponds
CB | Indiana

Brian Parker II
OT | Duke

Way too many offensive lineman. We simply dont have the roster room for four rookies especially if we add a couple starters. Id say maybe only one OL

Plus we drafted two Gs last year in the 3rd round. The sad fact is that we don't know whether either of those guys can play and we're on the hook for their contracts. I'd look to draft an OT in the second though as long as the guy is worthy of that draft position. It's likely someone's going to fall to us there.
OTOH, we need LBs, CBs, and at least one safety. Oh, and the DT position needs to be addressed. And another DE would be good. If another position on the defense existed, we'd need to address that too.

We lose Stone, Parnham, Putnam, Cappa (cut), Meredith
Bring Back Kolton, JPJ, Rogers, Grant and Glaze.
I haven't seen anything from Grant or Rogers that makes me think they are our starters next year.
A starting guard, a tackle to challenge Glaze, who I think we need to replace, and another guard to compete with Rogers and Grant. Coogan was just for fun.
This is also completely ignoring free agency, obviously that will make a huge difference, but we have no way of knowing what we will do there.

Free agency could, in theory, fix the line. There are aging Oline men that are going to be seeking one last deal and there are a few younger guys who are probably going to price themselves out of their current situation. In theory, we could get 3-5 of these guys. I do not worry about aging linemen. Those positions tend to give you guys who can play older at a high level. It is all about getting the contracts right so you are replacing them with young, drafted, players who can plug in and play.

Tyler Linderbaum
Wyatt Teller
David Edwards
Braden Smith
Rasheed Walker
Jonah Williams
Ed Ingram
Connor McGovern
There’s plenty of quality OL coming in FA. They can sign two of these guys and the line is exponentially better.

Getting Linderbaum to anchor the line for the next 5 years would be the best thing the team could do for Mendoza. A grand slam signing.
They say build middle out, well it doesn't get more middle than center.

As long as we don't get someone who quits now that he has his last payday. The Raiders seem awfully good at doing that.

Haji mentioned Ponds. I like the idea. Plays really good. With fire and chutzpah. Kinda in the Jaire Alexander/ Amik Robertson area size wise.

I'm hoping we can find a LB'er in this draft...maybe Jacob Rodriquez in the 5th.

There is when there is enough data to demonstrate correlation.

I would consider drafting Taylon Green out of Arkansas in the 4th as backup QB option..

That DT tackle Caleb Banks would be nice if he's available in the 2nd
